I am billing service seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage full‑cycle provider credentialing across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. This role requires accuracy, speed, and strong familiarity with payer enrollment processes, CAQH, PECOS, and multi‑payer portal management.
Responsibilities
Complete initial credentialing, recredentialing, and contracting for all payers
Manage CAQH profiles, document uploads, and timely attestations
Submit and track Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer applications
Maintain payer portals, group affiliations, rosters, and directory listings
Monitor application status and follow up with payers until effective dates are issued
Communicate with providers to obtain required documents, signatures, and updates
Maintain credentialing logs, timelines, and compliance documentation
Manage revalidation schedules and ensure all deadlines are met
Resolve credentialing delays, discrepancies, and enrollment issues
Requirements
2+ years credentialing experience (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers)
Strong knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and major payer portals
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation
