JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video and Photo Editing Specialist responsible for producing high-quality visual content aligned with brand guidelines and audience engagement goals. The ideal candidate combines technical editing skills with strong storytelling abilities, ensuring videos and images are polished, consistent, and optimized for digital platforms.
Talent Connect Inc is a U.S. Department of State–designated J-1 Visa sponsor organization specializing in internship and trainee programs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing accounts, maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and analyzing and editing program documents, maintain communicating with program participants and U.S. employers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos, including interviews, vlogs, tutorials, promotional content, and social media clips.
• Perform color correction, audio balancing, motion graphics integration, subtitles, and transitions to enhance viewer retention.
• Design and edit thumbnails and promotional images optimized for YouTube performance and branding.
• Organize raw footage, maintain file structures, and manage version control for efficient production workflows.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align edits with campaign objectives and publishing schedules.
• Optimize video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Stay updated with YouTube trends, editing techniques, and platform algorithm best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience editing YouTube content and digital photography.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of YouTube SEO basics, thumbnails, and retention-focused editing.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience creating motion graphics or basic animations.
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and social media marketing strategies.
• Portfolio demonstrating before-and-after edits or YouTube channel work.
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and keyword strategy) is highly appreciated.
• Experience with CapCut is highly appreciated.

Work Environment:
• Remote or hybrid collaboration depending on project needs.
• Flexible schedule aligned with content production timelines.
