About Us:
Rex & Roxy Pet Care is a small, growing pet care business based in Shoreline, WA. We specialize in personalized, professional dog walking and cat sitting, helping busy pet parents give their animals the exercise, care, and love they deserve. We’re a friendly, fast-moving business that values creativity, reliability, and a genuine love for animals.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage social media, create content, edit videos, engage with potential clients, and assist with administrative tasks. This role blends creativity, client relationship management, and organizational support, starting part-time with room to grow for the right person.

Core Responsibilities:
• Plan, create, and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, and other online platforms
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and marketing
• Create graphics, captions, and posts that match our brand voice
• Research trends, topics, and local events for content ideas
• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages on social media
• Engage with potential clients who inquire through social media, using provided scripts and guidelines
• Track and log all lead interactions in our CRM or tracking sheet
• Flag any complex or sensitive inquiries to the owner
• Assist with creative advertising content for campaigns and promotions
• Provide administrative support, including email management, internet research, data entry, and file organization
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support business operations

What We’re Looking For:
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and quick to learn new tools
• Excellent written English with a natural, conversational tone
• Proven experience as a VA, social media manager, or content creator
• Video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Reliable internet connection (speed test required)

Bonus Skills (not required, but highly valued):
• Content repurposing (turning one video or blog into multiple formats)
• Email marketing (Mailchimp, Flodesk, or similar)
• Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
• Basic SEO knowledge
• Experience with Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns
• Experience in the pet industry

Hours & Pay:
• Part-time to start (approx. 20 hours/week), with potential for full-time after trial period
• Flexible schedule, with some overlap with Pacific Time
• Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience
• Long-term position for the right person, with pay reviews after a trial period
