I'm hiring a creative short form editor who can make creative and unique stills, GIFs and advanced graphics from my long and short form content. And most of all, come up with creative ways to get people tuning into my long form, livestreams, Substack and website. Remote, about 20-25 hours a week, $900 to $1,000 USD (₱56,250.00 - ₱62,500.00) a month. Potential to go full-time after trial period.
About me
I'm a chef and content creator running a food media brand across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Substack. I make long form cooking shows, weekly livestreams, and short form recipe videos.
I film and direct everything myself. I need someone who can take what I make and turn it into a steady flow of posts that bring people back to the full episodes, my Substack and my website.
What you'll do
Repurposing my videos and clips
• You get videos that are already edited or BTS clips.
• Cut long form into shorter clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts
• Turn various 3 to 7 second moments into cohesive and visually unique carousels, GIFs and teasers
• Find the best moments and add captions or text only where it helps
• Pitch new formats when you see a better way to use a clip
Stills, GIFs and design
• Pull stills and make GIFs from shoots
• Keep everything on brand and editorial looking, not template-y
Scheduling
• Upload and schedule posts in my content planner (Rella)
• Keep captions, platforms and post times organized
Rollout and getting people to me (big part of this job)
• Be proactive, don't wait for me to hand you a plan. Bring me ideas every week
• Own the growth side. You'll lead rollouts and audience growth, not just execute the assets
• Build the path that gets people from a short form video platforms to my long form episode platforms, livestreams, Substack and website
• Create exclusivity in creative ways, give people reasons to care about being in my community
• Skip the typical "link in bio" playbook. I want ideas that feel like part of a world thats building, not just regular marketing
• Plan each rollout: what posts where, when, and how each piece leads to the next
• Look at what's working, tell me what to double down on, and what to drop
The look
Personal, cultural and never generic. Graphics/cutdowns can be playful, but never over edited. play on the more simple side.
Styles I love:
• Mixed media and collage
• Magazine and zine energy: layouts that feel like a food magazine spread, with type used as part of the design
• Color blocking with intention: one or two strong colors that make it pop, not a rainbow
• Real, candid photos with texture, like flash photography and paper grain, not glossy stock
• Clean, calm cutdowns that let the food, the people and the story breathe, not fast cuts, zooms and sound effects on every beat
• Real story and culture behind every piece, not only generic "easy dinner hack" content
• Handmade and intentional, never templates and NEVER AI generated

Who I'm looking for
Someone creative with real taste, not someone who runs every video through the same template.
You're proactive. You notice what's working, spot opportunities before I do, and bring ideas without being asked.
Must haves
• A portfolio link showing your short form edits, graphics and promo work (food or lifestyle preferred)
• Comfortable in CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar for trimming clips, captions and simple edits
• Advanced design skills: proficient in Photoshop, or able to make Photoshop level creative assets in Canva
• Examples of promo or rollout ideas you came up with
• Good written English and clear communication
• Reliable: you hit deadlines and tell me early if something slips
Nice to haves
• Experience growing a creator's audience or planning launches
• An eye for fashion, beauty and film, not just food
One rule: no generative AI in my edits. No AI backgrounds, AI voices or AI pop ups.
