JOB OVERVIEW

Sereni is currently looking for a freelance, per-project Video Editor to join our growing creative team. This role is focused on editing high-converting social media ads for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, primarily in the 1–3 minute range, using AI voiceovers, UGC footage, b-roll, AI video generation, captions, and performance-driven pacing. The ideal candidate understands direct response advertising, knows how to hook viewers fast, and can edit with conversion and retention in mind — not just aesthetics.

This is a remote, project-based role with new projects assigned daily. Compensation is per project, with typical earnings ranging between $1,000 – $2,000+ per month, depending on workload and performance.

Key Requirements:

- Has experience with UGC content.
- Has experience using AI tools to create videos (Elevenlabs, Kling, Gemini).
- Ability to find engaging b-roll + stock videos online to source and add to videos.
- Add sound effects, music, and engaging transitions.
- Work with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Has knowledge on how to create very engaging hooks, especially with AI (Kling, etc.) – VERY IMPORTANT
- Collaborate and communicate clearly to meet deadlines.

Bonus:

- Experience with motion graphics/animation.
- Understanding of performance-driven ad content.
