JOB OVERVIEW

# Creative Strategist for Fast-Growing E-commerce Brand | Meta Ads

We are looking for a **hands-on Creative Strategist** to take ownership of our Meta Ads creatives.

We run a fast-growing e-commerce brand and continuously test new products, angles and creatives.

We already know how to scale winning products with Meta Ads. Now we're looking for someone who can help us find and create the **next winning ads**.

This is a hands-on role.

You won't be joining a large creative team where you only write briefs. In the beginning, you'll be responsible for both **creative strategy AND creating many of the ads yourself**, while working together with other freelancers, editors or creators when needed.

## What you'll be doing

• Analyze our winning and losing Meta Ads
• Research competitors and the Meta Ads Library
• Find new hooks, angles, pain points and concepts
• Turn winning ads into new iterations
• Come up with completely new concepts to test
• Create static image ads yourself
• Create/edit simple video ads when needed
• Write hooks, headlines and copy for creatives
• Work together with external editors or creators for more advanced creatives
• Give clear briefs and feedback when someone else executes your concept
• Track creative performance and use the data to d ---------- what to create next
• Build a library of winning hooks, angles and concepts

We want someone who can go from:

**Research → Idea → Creative → Test → Analyze → Iterate**

Not someone who only comes up with ideas and waits for somebody else to execute them.

## What we're looking for

You:

• Have experience creating Meta Ads for e-commerce/DTC brands
• Understand hooks, angles, customer psychology and awareness levels
• Can create strong static image ads yourself
• Have basic-to-good video editing skills
• Can use tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or similar
• Understand Meta Ads performance metrics
• Can identify WHY a creative is working
• Know how to create multiple iterations of a winner
• Can also come up with completely new creative directions
• Can research competitors without simply copying them
• Are comfortable working independently
• Are proactive and bring your own ideas
• Can work fast and produce multiple creatives every week
• Have good written English

Experience with fashion, accessories or footwear is a plus, but not required.

## This role is NOT for you if...

You're only a graphic designer who needs to be told exactly what to create.

It's also not the right position if you're purely a strategist who only wants to write briefs.

**We need someone who can think AND execute.**

As we grow, we can add more editors and designers around you, allowing you to focus increasingly on creative strategy.

## Hours & Salary

Starting at approximately **20–30 hours per week**.

**$4–$6 USD/hour depending on experience.**

If you perform well and consistently help us produce winning creatives, there is room for more hours, increased pay and more responsibility.

We're looking for someone who wants to stay with us long-term and grow with the company.

## How to apply

Please do NOT send us a generic application.

Start your application with the word **ORANGE** so we know you've read the entire job post.

Then send us:

1. A short introduction about yourself.
2. Your experience with e-commerce and Meta Ads.
3. Examples of static and/or video ads you've personally created.
4. One example of a successful creative you've worked on and why you believe it performed well.
5. Which tools you use (Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, etc.).
6. Your current hourly rate and weekly availability.

## IMPORTANT — Short Loom Assignment

Please record a **3–5 minute Loom video**.

Choose ONE successful e-commerce Meta Ad you've seen and explain:

• Why you think the ad works
• What the main hook/angle is
• Who you think the target customer is
• 3 iterations you would create next
• 1 completely different concept you would test for the same product

Then briefly show us **one creative you personally made** and explain the thought process behind it.

Applications without the Loom video will not be considered.

We're not looking for someone who can simply make ads look pretty.

**We're looking for someone who wants to understand what makes people stop, click and buy — and then create more of it.**
