Creative Lead/Video Editor - Short Form Video Ads for Passion Driven Brands

$500 USD per client per month | $2,000–$2,500 USD per month at full capacity (4-5 clients approx)

Eloura Creative is a short form video performance agency working with North American DTC brands in pet, ethical beauty, plant based food and sustainable lifestyle. Founded by Jason in Melbourne, Australia and Megan from Vancouver, Canada.

The Role
This is not just a video editor role.
You will edit and think strategically. Hooks, concepts, angles, briefs and performance strategy are just as important as the edit itself.

When we land a client you start. One client becomes two, two becomes three. At four to five clients you are earning $2,000–$2,500 per month. At that point we hire editors beneath you and you step into Head of Creative — driving the creative direction of the whole department.
Annual compensation reviews and performance based structures will be introduced as we grow. If you help us build this you will be rewarded for it.
This is a contractor role and will be highly secure for the right candidate. You are free to manage your own projects in your own time provided client work for Eloura Creative is delivered reliably and to a high standard. We completely understand that at the beginning you may need to manage your own work while we grow your client portfolio. The huge upside for you is that you will be paid for the work you deliver, not by the hour.

What You Need To Be Strong At
Proven track record: Hook writing and direct response creative. DTC ecommerce. Meta and TikTok ad formats. UGC style content. North American consumer psychology. Editing for retention and conversion — you will be editing video yourself in the early stage. Explaining your creative decisions clearly. Taking ownership without needing constant direction.

Our Clients
Our clients are founder led, mission driven North American DTC brands. Their customers care deeply about values, ethics, pets, health, beauty and sustainability. The creative cannot feel generic. You need to already have strong instinct for how this market thinks and buys.

When I started this company I had three missions.
The first was to build a purpose driven business we can be proud of. By pledging to donate 2% of our total revenue from invoice one to Wildlife Warriors, founded by Steve and Terri Irwin and continued today by Bindi and Robert, we are doing exactly that. I have always loved animals, but helping from the safety of our office might be the way to go for now at least.
