About Us
We run one of the fastest-growing pet brands online. DTC. Performance-focused. High volume. We're obsessed with one thing: creative that converts.
We're hiring an A-player Creative Strategist to help us push past our next revenue milestone. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes paid creative, not someone looking for a comfortable seat.
Compensation
We offer a very important compensation for this role, dependent on experience, with performance incentives. Strong performers should expect significant upside tied to creative wins and scaling.
A quick note before anything else:
We have a few questions for you below. Based on your answers, we'll decide if we move forward. We prioritize hard-working people who are responsive and value real human communication. We do not appreciate AI-generated or automated responses to these questions, we want to hear from you, not from a chatbot.
The Role
You'll own the ideation, research, and scripting behind our Meta ad creative. You're the brain behind the brief. You hand off scripts and direction to our editors and designers, and you obsess over what's working, what isn't, and why.
What You'll Actually Do (Week to Week)
Ship multiple creative briefs per week, a mix of fresh concepts and iterations on winners
Write the actual scripts for video ads (this isn't a "concepting only" role, you're writing)
Hand off polished briefs to editors and designers with clear direction, references, and visuals where helpful
Run weekly market research, what's happening in the pet space, in DTC, and culturally that we can hook into
Run weekly competitor research using spy tools, you should already live in these tools
Develop a clear thesis and hypothesis for every test, we don't ship creative just to ship creative
Analyze creative performance, read the metrics, understand what they mean, translate that into the next round of iterations
Spot iteration opportunities fast, when something's working, you know how to milk it before it fatigues
Stay on top of trends, hooks, formats, angles, cultural moments
Static ad concepting as well, we're mostly video but statics are part of the mix
Collaborate closely with the broader creative team
What We Need From You (Non-Negotiables)
Minimum 2+ years of proven creative strategy experience in ecom DTC (this is a hard requirement, agency-only or B2B experience won't cut it here)
Proven ability to write video ad scripts that convert on Meta
Comfortable working independently and shipping high volume without hand-holding
Strong English
Available full-time, fully and exclusively focused on this role
Hungry, motivated, and obsessed with the craft
You are NOT a fit if:
You apply with a generic message
You've never worked on performance creative in ecom DTC before
You can't back up your experience with real examples
You need constant hand-holding to ship
Tools You Should Already Know
Spy tools (Foreplay, Pipiads, Atria/Brandsearch, or similar)
AI tools for ideation, research, and scripting workflows
AI image/avatar generation tools to bring briefs to life
Meta Ads Manager, comfortable reading and interpreting creative performance data
Working knowledge of what video editors and designers can and can't do, so your briefs are realistic and executable
The Hiring Process:
Application Review: We review your answers below.
Paid Project Trial: Real brief, real deliverable. If it's good, an interview follows.
One-Month Paid Trial: Weekly output with feedback.
Long-Term Offer: For those who consistently deliver.
ONE MORE THING.
We get a lot of applications. Most of them are copy-paste. Vague. Useless.
If yours looks like that, we won't even open it.
To apply, your message must follow this exact structure:
Full Name:
Age:
City:
Years of experience in creative strategy (minimum 2 years required):
Which market(s) have you worked in, in detail (niche, region, brand type):
Walk us through your process, step by step, from brief to shipped ad:
Tools you actively use (spy tools, AI tools, Ads Manager, etc.):
Who was your mentor, or who shaped how you approach creative strategy?
On average, how much time do you spend actively working per day/week on this kind of role?
Link to past work / briefs / scripts (real ad work, not general portfolios):
One sentence: why should we pick you over everyone else?
Outside of work, what's your favourite way to spend your free time?
If your message doesn't follow this structure exactly, it gets ignored.
We're not harsh. We're just focused.
The right person will love this.
