We own and operate several DTC supplement and skincare brands. We run paid ads
every single day across Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube — with real budget behind
them. Creative is the only thing that moves the needle for us, and right now we are
bottlenecked on ideas, not editors.
That is the job. You find the angles. Our editors build them. We spend money behind
the winners.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO
* Dig through
find what is running long and scaling
* Break down WHY those ads work — hook, angle, proof, pacing, offer
* Write hooks, scripts, and angles for short-form video ads and UGC
* Turn those into clear, specific briefs our video editors can execute without
asking you five follow-up questions
* Organize ideas into weekly creative batches
* Take our current winners and find the next iteration — new hook, new opener, new
proof stack
YOU WILL DO WELL HERE IF
* You understand direct response — you know an ad's job is to sell, not to look nice
* You can write a hook that stops the scroll in 2 seconds
* You are creative AND organized. Both. Ideas that never make it into a brief are
worth nothing to us
* You have worked on ecommerce, supplements, beauty, skincare, or health brands
* You are comfortable in
Sheets/Notion, and AI tools
* You can explain your thinking clearly in writing
BONUS POINTS
* You have written UGC scripts that actually ran as paid ads
* You have worked on supplement or beauty offers
* You have managed creative batches for a team of editors
THIS IS NOT A BASIC VA ROLE. We are not looking for someone to copy competitor ads
into a spreadsheet. We want someone who thinks, argues for their angles, and brings
ideas we did not ask for.
WHAT YOU GET
* Long-term role with a small, fast-moving team — no corporate layers
* Direct feedback on real ad performance, so you actually learn what works
* Start part-time at 20 hrs/week, move to full-time with a raise once your creative
is producing
* We pay on time, every time
HOW TO APPLY
Send your answers to these — short and direct is fine:
1. Your portfolio or examples of creative work you have done (scripts, briefs,
ads you helped make)
2. Roughly how much ad spend has run behind your creatives, and what ROAS or
results they got
3. Pick one ecommerce video ad currently running that you think is strong. Link it
and tell me in 3-4 sentences why it works
4. What makes a hook good? Answer in your own words, not ChatGPT's
Start your application with the phrase "chicken or apple" so I know you read to
the bottom.
Applications without a portfolio and without the code phrase will not be read.
