JOB OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Creative Strategist — Direct Response Supplement Brand (Remote, Full-Time)

COMPANY: Fast-growing American supplement brand doing $600K+ MRR and scaling to $1.5M/month. We sell wild American bison organ supplements direct-to-consumer through Meta Ads and Shopify. 100% subscription model. We spend $15K+/day on Meta and are scaling aggressively.

WHO WE ARE:
We're not a generic supplement brand. We sell a premium product with a unique mechanism, a loyal customer base of 50,000+ men, and proven ad creative DNA that prints. Our ads are raw, direct, comparison-driven, and built on deep avatar psychology. We need someone who can take what's already working and multiply it — not someone who wants to start from scratch with "brand awareness" ideas.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You will own the entire creative pipeline from concept to launch. Specifically:

- Develop ---------- new ad creatives per week across static images, video scripts, and ad copy
- Analyze winning creative DNA and build systematic variations that maintain the winning mechanism while refreshing the visual wrapper
- Write direct response ad copy for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) that stops the scroll, validates the avatar's failed journey, and creates an open loop that drives clicks
- Brief a video editor on scripts — you write the scripts with scene directions, talent notes, props, and pacing cues. The editor produces them.
- Brief an AI image designer on static prompts — you write detailed visual prompts for AI image generation tools. The designer generates them.
- Manage the creative testing process — launch new CBOs, monitor performance, kill losers fast, scale winners, and feed learnings back into the next batch
- Study competitors weekly — analyze what's working in the organ supplement space and adjacent men's health brands, then adapt winning angles for our brand
- Track CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, and CVR by creative and identify patterns in what's working and what's not
- Collaborate directly with the CEO on strategy, angles, and scaling decisions

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

1. Direct experience as a creative strategist for a supplement brand or health/wellness DTC brand. Not e-commerce in general. Supplements specifically. You understand compliance, health claims, mechanism-based selling, and solution-aware audiences.

2. A portfolio showing ads YOU created or strategized that generated measurable results. Screenshots of ads, performance data, ROAS numbers, spend levels. If you can't show your work, we can't hire you.

3. Experience on a brand that has done at least $3M+ in annual revenue through paid social. We're past the startup phase. We need someone who has operated at scale and understands what it takes to manage $10-20K/day in ad spend without burning money.

4. Deep understanding of direct response copywriting. You know the difference between TOFU and BOFU. You understand System 1 vs System 2 thinking. You know how to validate a failed journey, reframe a root cause, and create tribal hierarchy in a static image. If these terms mean nothing to you, this isn't the role.

5. Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager. You can launch CBOs, read data, manage budgets, and make kill/scale decisions independently.

6. Experience writing video scripts for talking head and UGC-style ads. Our videos follow a 7-part framework: Hook, Story, Problem, Discovery, Solution, Results, CTA. You need to be able to write scripts that an actor can film from with minimal direction.

7. Experience creating or briefing static ad creatives. You don't need to be a designer. But you need to be able to write a detailed visual prompt or creative brief that a designer or AI tool can execute from.

NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERRED):

- Experience with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana, DALL-E, etc.)
- Experience with competitor research tools (Meta Ad Library, Atria, Foreplay, etc.)
- Experience with subscription-based DTC brands (recurring revenue models)
- Familiarity with the ancestral health / organ supplement / men's testosterone space
- Experience with advertorial funnels and listicle landing pages

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:

Month 1: You've audited all current winning creatives, identified the winning DNA patterns, and produced your first batch of 50+ new creatives (statics + scripts + copy). At least 3-5 new winners emerge from your first month's output.

Month 3: Creative hit rate has improved from 5-10% to 15-20%. CPC has dropped meaningfully. You're producing 100+ creatives per week and the testing pipeline is systematized. New winning angles are being discovered monthly.

Month 6: You've contributed directly to scaling the brand from $600K MRR to $1M+ MRR through creative output. You have a library of 20+ proven winning creatives that you've built or iterated on. The creative process runs like a machine.

COMPENSATION:

Base: $2,000 USD/month (flat, paid monthly)
Bonus: 1% of total ad spend on any creative you produced that becomes a "winner" (defined as a creative that spends $5,000+ at or above target ROAS within 30 days of launch)

Example: If you create a static that spends $20,000 in a month at target ROAS, you earn $200 bonus on top of your base. If you produce 5 winners that collectively spend $100,000, that's $1,000 bonus. At scale ($450K/month ad spend), if your creatives account for even 30% of total spend, that's $1,350/month in bonuses on top of your $2,000 base = $3,350/month.

The better your creatives perform, the more you earn. This is a performance-driven role and the comp reflects that.

SCHEDULE AND LOGISTICS:

- Remote position. Work from anywhere.
- Must be available during US business hours (EST) for daily communication
- Communication via Slack or WhatsApp — daily check-ins with the CEO
- Weekly creative review calls
- Must have reliable internet and a laptop/computer capable of running Meta Ads Manager and creative tools

4. A short Loom video (2-3 minutes max) analyzing one of OUR current ads. Go to our Facebook page, pick any ad from our library, and tell me what's working, what's not, and what you'd change. This tells me more about your thinking than any resume ever could.

5. Your expected start date and confirmation that you can work US EST hours.
