ROLE OVERVIEW
Agency Geaux (AGX) is looking for a Creative Media Production & Design Specialist who can produce polished creative assets across multiple formats.
The role will support podcast production, document and presentation design, short-form video, marketing graphics, digital content, and other production needs across AGX brands. This person will also assist the Lead Graphic Designer with production work, asset preparation, revisions, and overflow assignments.
The ideal candidate is not limited to one creative discipline. They should be comfortable moving between graphic design, audio, video, documents, presentations, and digital publishing while maintaining consistent quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design marketing graphics, social media assets, digital advertisements, and branded collateral.
Format and design reports, guides, presentations, proposals, PDFs, and other business documents.
Edit and produce podcast audio, including cleanup, assembly, mastering, and export preparation.
Edit short-form video for social media, websites, YouTube, and promotional use.
Create captions, motion elements, thumbnails, title cards, and supporting video graphics.
Prepare and organize files for web, social, print, presentation, and internal use.
Upload, format, and publish media through relevant platforms when assigned.
Support the Head Graphic Designer with production assistance, revisions, resizing, versioning, and asset management.
Follow established brand identity systems across multiple AGX brands.
Maintain organized source files, templates, exports, and project folders.
Complete quality-control checks before assets are delivered or published.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design and multimedia production.
- Strong visual judgment, typography, layout, composition, and brand consistency.
- Practical audio and video editing experience.
- Ability to prepare assets for different platforms, dimensions, and technical specifications.
- Ability to work efficiently from briefs, templates, brand guidelines, and creative direction.
- Strong file-management and version-control habits.
- Attention to detail and willingness to complete production-oriented work.
- Ability to handle revisions without compromising deadlines or quality.
RELEVANT TOOLS
Candidates should have expert-level proficiency in several of the following software:
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Acrobat
- Canva
- Figma
- Riverside, Descript
- YouTube and YouTube Studio
- Podcast hosting platforms such as Podbean
- Social media publishing platforms
Experience with photography, animation, motion graphics, livestream production, or basic web design is preferred, but not required.
SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
Success means consistently producing polished, brand-aligned creative assets across multiple formats while meeting technical requirements and deadlines.
You will be effective in this role if you can:
move efficiently between design, audio, video, and media production;
support the Head Graphic Designer to reliably deliver on time; and
maintain organized, reusable source files.
WORK STYLE & AVAILABILITY
This is an active remote role with required collaboration during Central/Chicago/Houston time.
Candidates must be available to work synchronously during the window of:
6:00 AM – 11:00 AM Central Time
Pay is hourly and based on experience, starting at $4 per hour
Expertise must be Intermediate or above
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
15-20 hours per week, depending on candidate availability
active participation in team communication and collaborative workflows
ability to work visibly and responsively during team work windows
