We're looking for a real game developer to bring game mechanics and game-design thinking into an existing web platform (not a game).
You'll design and build the systems that make products genuinely fun to use: progression and motivation, feedback and reward loops, challenges and missions, unlocks and achievements, reputation and status, game economies, social mechanics, and real reasons for people to come back. You get player psychology, and you know how to design for it.
This is NOT generic gamification. We're not looking for points, badges, and leaderboards bolted onto a page. We want someone creative who says "what if we built this?", prototypes the idea, and shows us something real.
You'll work closely with our existing developers, share ideas constantly, and shape the product — not just close tickets. Proactive, hands-on, and creative is what we're after.
What we care about most is proof of work over years on a resume. Show us your GitHub, portfolio, and games or demos you've built — and tell us exactly what YOU built in each.
Bonus experience: Phaser, PixiJS, Three.js, React, Next.js, HTML5 games, Unity, Godot, or similar.
Required application question:
"If you could add ONE game mechanic to a non-game web platform — excluding points, badges, and traditional leaderboards — what would you build and why?"
. Collaborative team — we talk often, swap ideas, and want you involved.
If this sounds like you, show us what you've made and let's build something people actually want to come back to.
