Creative Designer & Social Media Marketing VA – Café / F&B

Part-Time | Remote | Approx. 20 Hours Per Week
US$4–6/hour depending on experience and portfolio

We are a Singapore-based Japanese-inspired café looking for a creative, reliable and proactive **Creative Designer & Social Media Marketing VA** to work closely with us on our brand, marketing and social media.

This is primarily a **creative design role**, but we are looking for someone who can also help manage our social media presence and execute day-to-day marketing activities.

You should have a strong eye for professional F&B design and be comfortable working independently from a brief, reference images or rough ideas.

##What You'll Be Doing

* Design promotional posters and marketing materials
* Create Instagram posts, Stories, carousels and other social media content
* Design and prepare images for our POS, kiosk and digital ordering platforms
* Edit and enhance food and drink photos
* Create short-form videos and Reels
* Help manage our Instagram, Facebook and other social profiles
* Schedule and publish social media content
* Write or refine simple captions and promotional copy
* Help plan marketing campaigns and promotional ideas
* Adapt artwork into different sizes and formats for digital and print
* Prepare print-ready artwork for posters, menus, table displays and other materials
* Coordinate with printing vendors when required
* Organise creative assets and maintain consistent branding
* Use AI tools to speed up creative production, generate concepts and improve workflows
* Assist with other creative and marketing work as needed

## Required Skills

You should be confident using:

* **Adobe Photoshop**
* **Adobe Illustrator**
* AI creative tools
* Canva or similar tools for quick content production
* Instagram / Meta Business Suite
* Basic video editing software

Experience with tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Lightroom or similar applications is an advantage.

## What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

* Has a strong portfolio of professional design work
* Has a good eye for typography, spacing, layout and visual hierarchy
* Can create polished commercial designs rather than relying entirely on templates
* Understands social media content and current visual trends
* Has experience creating content for restaurants, cafés, hospitality, lifestyle or retail brands
* Can edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels
* Is comfortable using AI as part of the creative process
* Can follow an existing brand style consistently
* Can also suggest improvements instead of simply following instructions
* Is organised and able to manage multiple small creative tasks
* Communicates clearly in English (primary communication will be via whatsapp and ---------- )
* Independant and responsible
* Is responsive and reliable with deadlines
* Open to use of Time Doctor or Timeproof for justification of hours and work done

Experience with F&B, restaurants or cafés is preferred

## Working Arrangement

Approximately 20 hours per week

The role is remote and working hours can be relatively flexible, but we need good communication and reasonable availability during Singapore business hours when required.

There is potential for additional hours and a longer-term position if we work well together.

## Compensation

US$4–6 per hour, depending on experience, portfolio and skill level.
Fixed monthly wage instead of per hour rate can be discussed
