JOB OVERVIEW

The role

We are a US based marketing agency for the modern era. We're actively building distribution and growth for our clients through utilizing the most cutting edge technology out there. This is a competitive team searching for team members that want to build a career for the long run within the creative marketing space.

We are hiring one editor and training them into the creative associate seat here. You do not need years of experience. You need to already know your way around editing software, have real creative instincts, and be genuinely coachable. We will teach you the rest.

What you will do
- Edit short-form vertical video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) from scripts and raw footage
- Put together creative campaigns through graphic design
- Cut ad creative for Meta campaigns, including multiple hook variations
- Caption and style videos to brand standards
- Add simple text animation and transitions
- Source b-roll, stock, and music
- Keep files and folders organized
- Hit deadlines without being chased

As well as any other additional tasks as needed.

Required
- CapCut, or a comparable editor you can switch from. You should be comfortable with multi-track editing, captions, transitions, and speed adjustment. We will train you up on the rest.
- Real creative instinct. You can tell why one video holds attention and another does not. This matters more to us than your resume.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Non-negotiable and we will test it. You will read briefs, take written feedback, and eventually write briefs and join client calls.
- High comprehension. You read instructions once and get them right. You ask a good question when something is genuinely unclear instead of guessing.
- Coachability. You take direct feedback without getting defensive and you apply it the first time.
- A computer that handles video without crashing, and stable internet.
- Start your application's first message with the word CRAWFISH so we know you read this far.

Nice to have
After Effects or Premiere, motion graphics, Canva or Figma, basic copywriting, any experience editing for healthcare or professional service brands.
