JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Creative Assistant to join our team at WARKITCHEN ( ---------- /thewarkitchen/). We publish a digital and print magazine covering nutrition, wellness and health, and we need someone who can help us lay out content, produce assets for Instagram, and prepare files for print as we scale. If you're the kind of person who notices when kerning is off by a few pts or when a layout just looks off, we'd like to hear from you :)
This is a full-time, hands-on role.

Your work will include the following:
InDesign: magazine layouts, multi-page PDF projects, infographic design, getting files print-ready
Photoshop: retouching and upscaling images, removing backgrounds, cleaning up assets for digital and print
Illustrator: custom design elements, pattern creation, cleaning up vectors
Social content: designing assets for our Instagram (carousel graphics, story templates, repurposing editorial content for social)
File management: keeping our digital assets organized, properly named, and easy to find
General creative support

Who is this ideal for?
Current college student or recent graduate in graphic design, visual arts, communications or a related field
Someone with great taste and a good eye for design
Incredibly organized and meticulous
Comfortable working independently
Curious about editorial design, typography, or visual storytelling

The role is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (we're flexible on time zone). Compensation is a flat rate of US $700/month paid at the end of each month.
