JOB OVERVIEW

Utrust Immigration Pte. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cover Letter Writer to join our team and help prepare personalized cover letters for clients applying for **Singapore Permanent Residency (PR) and Citizenship.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply summarizing a client's resume. The ideal candidate should be able to understand a client's background, identify relevant strengths and contributions, and turn these into a clear, authentic, and well-structured narrative that supports their application.

## Responsibilities

* Write and prepare personalized cover letters for Singapore PR and Citizenship applications.
* Review client information, employment background, education, achievements, family circumstances, community involvement, and other relevant details.
* Identify the client's strongest and most relevant points and incorporate them naturally into the letter.
* Ensure the cover letter presents the client's profile clearly and professionally without making exaggerated or unsupported claims.
* Adapt the writing style and structure based on each client's individual circumstances.
* Work with our internal team to clarify information or request additional details when necessary.
* Revise cover letters based on feedback from our consultants and clients.
* Ensure accuracy in names, dates, employment details, qualifications, and other important information.
* Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information and documents.
* Follow Utrust's internal guidelines and writing standards.

## Requirements

* Proven experience in professional writing, cover letter writing, personal statements, application essays, or similar types of persuasive writing.
* Excellent written English with strong grammar, sentence structure, and proofreading skills.
* Ability to write in a natural, human, and personalized tone rather than using generic or overly templated language.
* Strong research and information-gathering skills.
* Ability to understand complex information and organize it into a compelling and logical narrative.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to distinguish between relevant information and details that do not add value to an application.
* Comfortable working with feedback and making revisions.
* Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple client profiles at the same time.
* Experience handling confidential client information.

## Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

* Immigration or visa-related writing
* Singapore PR or Citizenship applications
* Personal statements or statements of purpose
* Legal or professional writing
* University admissions or scholarship applications
* Executive or professional profile writing
* Recruitment or resume writing
* Client-facing writing services

*Knowledge of Singapore's PR or Citizenship application process is a strong advantage but is not required if you have excellent writing and research skills.**
