JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Course Developer / LearnDash Specialist to create and manage professional online training courses.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building structured online courses, developing video-based lessons, organizing learning materials, and working directly with LearnDash on WordPress.

Experience creating technical or low-voltage security training is a strong plus, but the primary requirement is proven experience developing online courses.

Key Responsibilities
Build and manage online courses in LearnDash
Create complete course structures, including:
Courses
Modules
Lessons
Topics
Quizzes
Assignments
Certificates
Upload and organize video lessons
Format course content for a professional and easy-to-follow student experience
Create course navigation and learning paths
Develop quizzes and knowledge checks
Configure course prerequisites and progression rules
Set up certificates and course completion requirements
Organize downloadable resources, PDFs, worksheets, and supporting materials
Edit and update existing courses
Maintain consistent formatting across all courses
Test courses before publication
Troubleshoot LearnDash course issues
Work with WordPress pages and course layouts
Help improve student engagement and course completion
Convert raw training material into polished online lessons
Video Course Experience

The candidate should be comfortable working with video-based training content, including:

Uploading and organizing training videos
Creating lesson titles and descriptions
Dividing long videos into structured lessons
Adding supporting text, images, downloads, and resources
Creating quizzes related to video lessons
Adding captions or transcripts when available
Organizing video libraries into complete training programs

Basic video editing experience is preferred.

Required Experience
Proven experience creating online courses
Strong hands-on experience with LearnDash
Experience working with WordPress
Experience building video-based courses
Experience creating quizzes, lessons, modules, and course structures
Strong attention to detail
Good written English
Ability to organize complex information into simple learning steps
Ability to work independently and complete courses from start to finish
Preferred Experience
Technical training course development
Low-voltage or security industry knowledge
Instructional design
Learning Management Systems
Canva
Camtasia
Loom
Adobe Premiere Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Screen recording software
WordPress page builders such as Elementor
LearnDash add-ons and integrations
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has already built real online courses using LearnDash.

The candidate should understand how to take videos, documents, notes, and technical information and turn them into a professional, organized, easy-to-follow online training course.

Applicants should be prepared to provide examples of courses they have previously created.
