JOB OVERVIEW

We are a US project controls firm hiring Cost and Change Specialists for capital projects in industrial, EPC, energy and data center / mission-critical work. You will own the control budget, forecast and earned value reporting, and run the change process that keeps the budget current.

Hands-on earned value management (EVM) is required. If you have not personally reported CPI / SPI on a live project, this role is not a fit.

SCHEDULE
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Central (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila; one hour later from November to March). Long-term role.

PAY
$1,300 to $2,600 USD per month depending on experience. Paid monthly.
- 3+ years: Specialist level
- 7+ years: Senior level
- 12+ years: Lead level

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set up and maintain the control budget and cost breakdown structure; reconcile to the estimate and contract
- Track commitments, accruals and actuals; produce the monthly cost report and EAC / ETC forecast with variance explanations
- Measure progress and earned value; report CPI / SPI and what is driving the forecast
- Run the trend and change process: log and price potential changes, route for approval, update the budget
- Review contractor pay applications against progress and contract terms; maintain the cash flow forecast
- Maintain the change log, contingency drawdown and management reserve

REQUIRED
- 3+ years in project cost control
- Hands-on EVM: maintaining the performance measurement baseline, measuring earned value against planned value and actual cost, reporting CPI / SPI
- Owned a monthly cost report, EAC and change log on a live project
- Hands-on ERP (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) or project cost system (Ecosys, Unifier, InEight, Cobra, Prism) within the last 3 years, plus advanced Excel
- At least one industrial, EPC, oil and gas, power or data center project carried through construction
- Strong written English

NICE TO HAVE
- AACE CCP, EVP or CCT, or PMP
- Deltek Cobra or Ecosys
- Able to read and analyze P6 schedules
- Power BI
