JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Copywriter & Video Quality Checker to ensure accuracy, clarity, and professionalism across all short-form video content we produce. This role is essential in maintaining high quality standards and eliminating errors before deliverables reach our clients. The ideal candidate has exceptional English writing skills, strong familiarity with U.S. culture, and experience reviewing and correcting content for grammar, spelling, and brand accuracy. This full-time position requires availability during EST business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Caption & Copy Review
-Review captions and on-screen text for proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting
-Correct any errors in sentence flow, readability, and clarity
-Ensure tone and messaging align with each client’s brand voice
-Maintain consistency in writing style across client content

Video Quality Checking
-Monitor videos for errors such as incorrect names, brand references, and terminology
-Identify and flag issues with subtitles, pacing of captions, and readability
-Confirm accuracy of quotes and statements when needed
-Work closely with Content Uploaders and Editors to implement corrections efficientl

Content Consistency & Brand Accuracy
-Verify client-specific style guidelines are followed across all delivered assets
-Check for continuity and alignment in messaging within content series
-Ensure correct spelling of client names, product names, and company details
-Maintain and update reference sheets for recurring clients when necessary

Team Communication & Workflow Collaboration
-Provide clear, actionable feedback to editing and creative teams
-Coordinate revisions and track video updates through internal systems
-Support Content Managers in quality-assurance checkpoints before client review
-Communicate proactively to resolve discrepancies or missing information

Qualifications & Skills

Required:
-2+ years of professional copywriting, content editing, or proofreading experience
-Extremely strong English language skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
-Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
-Experience working with digital or social media content
-Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams
-Availability full-time (40 hrs/week) during EST business hours

Preferred:
-Understanding of U.S. cultural context, references, and common language usage
-Experience with captioning workflows, content approval, or creative QA
-Familiarity with short-form platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
-Basic knowledge of project management tools (Notion, Slack, ClickUp, ---------- , etc.)
