About us

Bua Health is a digital healthcare provider focused on weight loss in Ireland. We help people access clinically appropriate weight loss care, including GLP-1 medications, through a doctor-led telehealth platform. We're small, moving fast, and we care a lot about how our brand shows up in front of people.

The role

We're looking for one person who can build our content world from the ground up: strategy, copy, and design, across both email and social media. It needs to be world class content similar to ---------- , ---------- , and similar operators (please check out their social media).

The core of the role is craft. We want someone who can look at a blank page and think through what to say, who it's for, and why now, then write it, then design it into something that actually looks good in an inbox and in a feed.

You'll build a long-term email nurture programme for people who come through our funnel and qualify for our weight loss programme, and you'll create ongoing social media content that builds the Bua brand as a trusted, human, doctor-led weight loss provider in Ireland.

This is a long-term role. You won't be managing live campaigns day to day - that sits with the wider team. Your job is to produce the content and set it up so it's ready to run.

What you'll do

- Build the content strategy: what we say, to whom, and when, across email sequences and social channels.
- Write the copy: emails, captions, hooks, subject lines, short-form scripts. Warm, clear, human, medically responsible.
- Design the finished output: emails and social posts that meet our brand standards. Canva preferred, but use whatever tool you're strongest in.
- Ensure email sequences can be implemented in Mailchimp so they're built, tested, and ready to fire.

*What we need you to be great at*

We think of this role as two halves, and we need both.

The strategy half:
Segmenting audiences and mapping content journeys that make sense for where someone is in their decision. Choosing hooks, angles, and formats that suit the platform and the moment.

The execution half:
Visual design that feels engaging, helpful and sharp.

Nice to have

Prior work in health, wellness, or digital healthcare. Campaigns in those categories would be a real advantage.
Experience producing short-form video content or scripts, not just static posts.
Familiarity with the GLP-1 / weight loss category.

A note on AI

We're AI-first and we expect you to be too. Use AI heavily in your workflow: drafting, ideation, image generation with Gemini, refinement. What we don't want is AI slop: generic openings, empty phrases, over-emojied captions, or bland AI-generated imagery. If you can tell the difference between good AI-assisted work and lazy AI-assisted work, we want to talk.
