We are a growing record label looking for an experienced professional to lead our Take Down & Copyright Enforcement Department.
This role is not entry-level.
We are looking for someone who actually understands copyright claims, DSP policies, and knows how to successfully remove infringing content from platforms like Spotify and others.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for protecting the copyrights of the label, its artists, and its catalog
Identifying, tracking, and monitoring unauthorized use of our music
Handling cases of:
Song theft
Unauthorized uploads
Illegal use of ISRCs
Fake artists / impersonation
Submitting and managing Take Down requests across digital platforms
Managing copyright and Content ID claims on:
Spotify
YouTube
Apple Music
TikTok
Instagram
Other streaming and social platforms
Ongoing communication with:
Distributors
DSPs
Content ID companies
Collecting and organizing evidence:
Proof of ownership
Copyright documentation
Release history
Handling disputes, appeals, and counter-claims
Tracking each case until full resolution
Protecting the label’s reputation, revenue, and view/stream counts
Requirements (Mandatory):
Proven experience with Spotify copyright claims / takedowns
Real understanding of:
Sound recording vs composition rights
ISRC misuse
DSP copyright policies
Experience communicating directly with platforms and distributors
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Strong attention to detail and documentation
English proficiency (written)

This role requires real hands-on experience.
