JOB OVERVIEW

We manage a bi-weekly newsletter that breaks down the biggest blockchain, DeFi, and crypto stories in a smart yet silly, light-hearted way. Our goal is to make complex finance, fintech, and crypto topics simple, fun, and appealing to both industry experts (finance, government, tech) and younger audiences (business school students + broader social media users curious about the space).
What You'll Do:

Primary Role (#1): Every other week, transform one newsletter edition (stories + custom songs) into viral vertical short-form videos (15–60s) in the 3D animated, caption-heavy style of Zack D Films — fast-paced, absurd, funny, edgy, and highly engaging (absolutely no corporate feel!).
Strategize fresh concepts, storyboards, and character designs to turn educational crypto content into entertaining, shareable chaos.
Speed up songs for addictive short-form pacing, create custom 3D characters and environments, drive story actions/interactions, and add silly sound effects, text pops, zooms, and playful visuals.

Secondary Role (#2): Weekly, clip podcast videos into cropped, captioned shorts optimized for X (horizontal feed + vertical shorts) and TikTok.
Select the most hooky 8–15 second soundbites or strong interactions (especially Q&A between host and guest).

Who We're Looking For:

Strong concept artist not afraid to push the envelope — edgy, playful, bold visuals that lean into absurdity and irreverent humor while staying smart and engaging.
Solid skills in 3D animation and video editing (Blender, CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
Portfolio ideally showing 3D humanoid character stories set to music or lyrics (narrative scenes, character actions, singing/dancing, caption-sync) and/or podcast clipping work (hooky, captioned shorts from long-form).
Bonus: Interest or knowledge in crypto/DeFi — you understand industry drama and can make it funny.
Fluent English speaker (strong written and spoken) for clear reading, writing, and communication.
Creative storyteller who loves silly, fun, non-serious vibes — ---------- s, absurdity, scroll-stopping hooks.
Reliable, proactive, and excited to turn news/education into entertaining chaos.

Pay & Hours:

Hourly Rate: $6–$10 USD/hour (depending on experience and portfolio quality — higher end for proven talent).
Starting Hours: 10 hours/week (flexible around deliverables, with room to increase to 15-20 based on workload and performance).

Paid Test Project (Required for Shortlisting):
To find the best fit, shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid test project ($50–$80 fixed, depending on quality/speed):

Take 1 provided newsletter story + its song and translate it into a 90-second vertical short-form viral video in 3D animated Zack D Films style. Include similar 3D characters, settings, scenes, actions, singing/dancing, and captions (we'll provide video style reference + 2 character references).
Cut & caption 1 long-form podcast episode (~30 minutes) into 5 short clips — selecting the most hooky, engaging, interesting statements or interactions (Q&A ---------- nts preferred). Optimize with captions for X/Reels/TikTok.

We'll provide all files (story, song, podcast, references). Turnaround: 3–5 days. Top performers get the ongoing role.
How to Apply:
Send your resume, portfolio (especially any funny short-form, Zack D-style, 3D humanoid music-synced stories, or podcast clipping examples), and a short note on why making crypto content silly and entertaining excites you. Mention if you're available for the paid test.
Let’s make crypto the most fun thing on social media — apply if you're ready for creative chaos! ????????
