JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a growing SaaS company in the job management / field service space (plumbing, electrical, etc.), currently getting ~30 organic visitors/day.

We’re looking for a high-level SEO thinker + doer who can:
• Plan our SEO strategy
• Identify ranking opportunities
• Turn those into content that actually drives traffic + conversions

This is NOT a basic writer role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Keyword research (commercial + long-tail keywords)
• Identify opportunities like:
• “software for plumbing businesses”
• “job management software for electricians”
• competitor alternatives (e.g. Tradify alternatives)
• Create detailed content briefs
• Write or edit high-quality SEO pages
• Structure content for rankings (headings, internal linking, etc.)
• Work with outreach + Reddit team to support content

Requirements:

• Proven experience ranking pages on Google
• Strong understanding of:
• Search intent
• On-page SEO
• Content structure
• Experience with SaaS or B2B is a BIG plus
• Can show examples of:
• Pages you’ve ranked
• Traffic growth you’ve driven

Not a Fit If You:

• Only write blog posts with no SEO strategy
• Focus on “word count” instead of outcomes
• Don’t understand commercial intent keywords

Success Looks Like:

• Our pages rank on page 1 for target keywords
• Organic traffic grows month-on-month
• Content actually converts into signups
