We are expanding our marketing and content production capacity and are looking for a Content & SEO Copywriter who can turn research, business information, target keywords, and content briefs into clear, useful, engaging, and search-friendly content.
This role combines recurring client content production with SEO-focused marketing copywriting.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer who is comfortable researching unfamiliar industries, writing for different audiences, using AI and SEO tools as part of the production workflow, incorporating feedback, and managing recurring content deadlines.
Role Overview:
The Content & SEO Copywriter will be responsible for researching, writing, editing, optimizing, and preparing content for multiple client and company marketing initiatives.
Content may include:

- Service pages
- VA service pages

- SEO-focused marketing content
- Existing content optimization
- Repurposed content
- LinkedIn and other supporting marketing content
The role requires the ability to move between different industries, audiences, and content formats while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and the appropriate tone for each account.
The Copywriter should understand that effective SEO content is not simply about inserting keywords. Content must satisfy search intent, communicate clearly, provide value to the intended audience, and support the underlying business objective.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Content Research & Planning
- Research assigned industries, companies, topics, and audiences before writing.
- Review client websites, existing content, source materials, and other relevant information.
- Research and propose relevant topics for newsletters, blogs, and other content.
- Understand the purpose, audience, and business objective of each piece of content.
- Participate in content planning sessions when needed.
- Maintain awareness of upcoming content requirements and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to create multiple content assets from the same research or source material.
The Copywriter should become familiar with the terminology, services, audience, positioning, and content preferences of each account they support.

- Responsibilities may include:
- Researching newsletter topics.
- Developing newsletter concepts and angles.
- Writing newsletter copy.
- Incorporating client-specific messaging and preferences.
- Editing and proofreading content.
- Incorporating internal and client feedback.
- Preparing approved newsletters for production.
- Formatting newsletters within platforms such as Mailchimp or GoHighLevel (GHL).
- Scheduling approved campaigns when required.
- Maintaining visibility over upcoming newsletter deadlines.
The Copywriter should ensure that newsletters are delivered with sufficient time for review, revision, approval, and scheduling.
3. Blog & SEO Content Writing
Write useful, engaging, and search-friendly blog content based on approved topics, briefs, and SEO inputs.
Responsibilities include:
- Working from target keywords and understanding their search intent.
- Researching assigned topics thoroughly.
- Developing logical content structures.
- Writing clear and useful long-form content.
- Incorporating keywords naturally.
- Using appropriate headings, paragraphs, and supporting sections.
- Optimizing content for readability and search visibility.
- Fact-checking information before publication.
- Revising content based on editorial and client feedback.
- The Copywriter should prioritize usefulness, readability, accuracy, and search intent rather than keyword density.
4. Website & Service Page Copywritingz
Create and improve website and service-related content.
This may include:
- Website pages
- Service pages
- VA service pages
- Landing page copy
- Supporting marketing pages
- Existing website content
Responsibilities include:
- Translating complex services into clear customer-focused language.
- Maintaining consistent terminology and positioning.
- Communicating business value clearly.
- Structuring content for readability and SEO.
- Incorporating relevant target keywords.
- Identifying opportunities to improve existing website copy.
- Ensuring content supports the intended audience and marketing objective.
5. Case Study & Evidence-Based Content
Transform research, interviews, approved source material, and client information into compelling case study content.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding the client's original challenge.
- Identifying the objectives and business context.
- Documenting the approach taken.
- Clearly communicating relevant services and capabilities.
- Highlighting measurable outcomes where verified.
- Incorporating approved testimonials and proof points.
- Structuring the story around business value rather than simply listing completed tasks.
The Copywriter must never invent results, metrics, client statements, or other unsupported claims.
When information is unclear or insufficiently supported, the Copywriter should identify the information as requiring validation before publication.
6. SEO & Content Optimization
Optimize new and existing content using established SEO and content standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing target keywords and search intent.
- Incorporating keywords naturally.
- Optimizing headings and content structure.
- Reviewing word count and paragraph structure.
- Improving readability and content flow.
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing content.
- Using SEO/content optimization tools to evaluate drafts.
- Applying recommendations from the Marketing Operations Manager and SEO support.
- Keeping reasonably current with changes in SEO and content-writing practices.
The Copywriter is not expected to own the company's complete SEO strategy. The primary responsibility is to execute SEO requirements accurately and effectively.
7. Content Repurposing
Adapt approved source content into additional marketing assets when required.
For example:
Research / Source Material → Core Content → Multiple Marketing Assets
This may include repurposing:
- Case studies into LinkedIn content.
- Blog content into newsletters.
- Website content into social posts.
- Client research into multiple content pieces.
- Existing marketing content into supporting sales or promotional materials.
The Copywriter must maintain consistency with the approved source material when repurposing content.
8. Review, Editing & Revisions
- Proofread all content before submission.
- Review grammar, spelling, structure, tone, and factual accuracy.
- Incorporate internal feedback accurately.
- Incorporate client feedback efficiently.
- Track recurring client preferences.
- Apply previously established feedback to future content.
- Minimize unnecessary revisions by reviewing work carefully before submission.
- Maintain consistency across content produced for the same client or brand.
9. Content Production & Workflow Management
The Copywriter will also take ownership of the operational side of recurring content production.
This includes:
- Managing assigned content deadlines.
- Working efficiently through batch production.
- Maintaining visibility over upcoming content.
- Organizing drafts and source materials.
- Following established content workflows.
- Updating content status and production information.
- Identifying bottlenecks or recurring production issues.
- Suggesting improvements to the content workflow.
- Maintaining process documentation when appropriate.
The goal is not simply to produce individual pieces of content, but to help increase the speed, consistency, and capacity of the overall content production pipeline.
