JOB OVERVIEW

Content Producer / Video Editor to work directly with our internal team to help shape, produce, and edit high-performing content across YouTube and Instagram.This is not a basic editing role.

We are specifically looking for someone who understands and can execute Alex Hormozi–style and Chris Willx–style edits:
• Clean, fast-paced, message-first
• Retention-driven structure
• Minimal fluff, maximum clarity
• Editing that serves the idea, not flashy effectsIf you don’t naturally think in hooks, pattern interrupts, and pacing — this role will not be a fit.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the internal team on content strategy (not just execution)
• Edit short-form content (Reels, Shorts) in a Hormozi / Chris Willx style
• Edit long-form YouTube content with:• Strong opening hooks• Tight pacing
• Clear structure and payoff
• Translate raw footage into clean, high-retention assets
• Advise on hooks, CTAs, captions, formatting, and platform-specific optimization
• Proactively suggest improvements to scripts, delivery, and structure
• Maintain a consistent, high-standard editing style across all content

Editing Style We Want (Read Carefully)You should already be comfortable producing edits similar to:
• Alex Hormozi (direct-to-camera, hard cuts, emphasis edits, clarity-first)
• Chris Willx (structured talking-head content, clean visuals, rhythm, pacing) This is not cinematic, vlog-style, or over-edited content. If your instinct is heavy transitions, flashy effects, or filler B-roll — this is not the role.
• Kallaway - hook-obsessed short?form with dense motion graphics, text, and constant re?hooks
• Ryan Serhant’s style - highly produced, story?driven, smooth pacing, cinematic b?roll, and strong personal branding.



What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable)
• Proven experience editing and producing content for YouTube and Instagram
• Strong marketing-first mindset (you understand why content performs)
• Deep understanding of hooks, retention, and audience psychology
• Ability to think strategically and independently
• Clean, modern editing style aligned with Hormozi / Willx formats
• Comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating quickly
• Reliable, organized, and proactive

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)To be considered, you must submit a portfolio that includes:
• YouTube long-form content you’ve edited
• Short-form clips (Reels / Shorts) in a Hormozi or Chris Willx style
• Bonus points for including performance metrics (views, retention, growth)Tools & Skills
• Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (After Effects is a plus, not required)
• Strong understanding of YouTube retention and short-form pacing• Familiarity with modern short-form formatting and captions
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyWhy This Role MattersYou will play a key role in scaling a media-driven brand where content directly fuels authority, inbound leads, and revenue.

This is a long-term, core hire, not a contractor role.
