Content Marketing Manager & Video Editor (Travel Industry)

Position Overview

Mikey Adventures Travel is seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Content Marketing Manager & Video Editor to help build our travel brand online. Your primary responsibility will be creating engaging video content that documents our journey, attracts new travelers, and grows our audience across multiple social media platforms.

This is a long-term position with opportunities for growth as our company expands.

Responsibilities
Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–15 minutes)
Create YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and TikTok videos
Add captions, transitions, graphics, music, and animations
Design eye-catching YouTube thumbnails
Repurpose one long video into multiple pieces of content
Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
Write engaging video titles, descriptions, hashtags, and captions
Help develop content ideas and marketing campaigns
Track video performance and recommend improvements
Maintain a consistent posting schedule
Qualifications
Proven experience editing videos for YouTube and social media
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
Experience creating viral short-form content
Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Photoshop)
Strong English communication skills
Reliable internet connection and computer
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry
Understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms
Knowledge of storytelling and content marketing
Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar productivity tools
