JOB OVERVIEW

We are mission-driven children’s brand. This role supports our organic growth by executing SEO + blog content, tracking keyword and content performance weekly, improving landing pages for conversion, and publishing transactional/inventory-driven updates (IG Stories + Shopify emails) through beautiful graphic design. You’ll also provide scheduled customer service backup 1–2 days/week using templates.

We’re looking for someone who is creative and performance-driven: a strong writer with strong Canva skills, who understands AIEO (AI search optimization), funnels, and conversion—then turns insights into clear improvements.

Core Responsibilities
1) SEO + AIEO Blog Content (Primary)
* Write and publish 1–2 SEO-optimized blog posts per week (occasionally 3 during peak seasons).
* Use keyword research (ex: Ubersuggest) to select topics aligned with search intent and purchase intent.
* Optimize content for modern discovery and AIEO:
* Clear structure, concise answers, strong headings
* Snippet-friendly formatting and FAQ sections
* Helpful, culturally respectful explanations for parents and educators
* Ensure every post includes:
* Internal links to relevant product/collection pages
* Strong CTAs that move readers into the funnel
* Optimized meta title/meta description and alt text
* Refresh older posts monthly (update, expand, improve internal links, strengthen conversion paths).

2) Weekly Tracking: Keywords + Content Performance
* Track priority keywords weekly and report movement + actions being taken.
* Monitor performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and, when available, Google Search Console:
* Organic sessions, landing page performance, bounce rate, time on page
* Queries/pages with high impressions but low clicks (CTR opportunity)
* Posts that rank but don’t convert (CTA and funnel fixes)
* Maintain a simple tracking sheet (keywords, URLs, rankings, insights, next steps).

3) Funnels, Conversions, and Landing Page Improvements
* Improve the content funnel from blog ? collection/product pages ? checkout:
* CTAs, internal linking, recommended products, clarity improvements
* Support ongoing landing page improvements:
* Rewrite sections for clarity and conversion
* Add FAQ blocks, trust signals, comparisons, and “what’s included” sections
* Improve structure for mobile readability
* Create simple on-site resources that increase conversion (ex: guides, checklists, printables).

4) Shopify + Bloggle + Shopify Emails
* Publish blogs using Bloggle + Shopify, ensuring correct formatting, SEO fields, and internal linking.
* Create and publish Shopify emails as assigned (announcements, banners, on-site clarity messaging).

5) Canva (Strong Skills Required)
* Create polished Canva assets aligned with brand templates:
* Blog feature images, IG story slides, simple website graphics, printables
* Maintain a clean Canva file system (naming conventions, folders, reusable templates).

6) Instagram Stories + Transactional Organic Updates
* Publish inventory/transactional updates using templates:
* Low stock / last chance
* Back in stock / restocks
* Surveys, quick announcements, seasonal reminders
* Keep Stories active using interactive formats (polls, questions, stickers).
* Repurpose blog/campaign content into Stories and simple posts.

7) ManyChat Support (Bonus / Support)
* Support ManyChat flows as assigned (basic updates, keyword triggers, link checks, quick edits).
* Coordinate with the team to ensure ManyChat messages match current promotions and inventory availability.

8) Customer Service Cross-Support (1–2 Days/Week)
* Provide customer service coverage 1–2 scheduled days per week, primarily for:
* Order status + shipping questions
* Product questions
* Basic troubleshooting (discount codes, checkout issues)
* Respond using saved templates/macros and escalate exceptions as needed.
* Flag repeated questions so we can improve FAQs, product pages, and automated replies.
* Availability 10-2PM Eastern Standard Time

* Basic Shopify “developer-minded” skills (comfortable reviewing issues and coordinating fixes)
* Ability to review Hotjar / Microsoft Clarity recordings and identify conversion blockers
* Suggest and implement fixes such as:
* Copy clarity improvements
* Mobile layout and hierarchy suggestions
* CTA placement improvements
* Form friction reduction
* Navigation and scroll behavior improvements
* Familiarity with Klaviyo (repurposing content, basic QA, campaign support)
* Experience with A/B testing or conversion testing tools
* Ability to create simple printables/resources that support education + conversion
* Help edit videos for social media

Success Criteria (KPIs)
* SEO/AIEO output: 1–2 SEO blog posts/week with strong structure + internal links
* Tracking cadence: weekly keyword + content performance reporting with actions taken
* Organic growth: organic sessions trend upward vs monthly targets
* Conversion improvements: measurable lifts on priority landing pages (CTR, add-to-cart, conversion rate where possible)
* Instagram: consistent Stories + timely inventory updates; track traffic contribution
* Customer support: 1–2 coverage days/week completed; recurring FAQs surfaced weekly

Requirements
* Strong English writing skills + ability to match a warm, parent-friendly brand voice
* Strong Canva skills (you can produce clean, polished assets quickly)
* SEO fundamentals + AIEO understanding
* Conversion and funnel understanding (content > landing > checkout)
* Organized, consistent, and comfortable working from SOPs/templates
