JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title

Content Manager – Short-Form Video & Publishing (NOT Just Editing)

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

This role is NOT for someone who only edits videos.

This role is for someone who can manage the full short-form content pipeline, including:

editing

scheduling

posting

consistency

tracking

If you are only an editor and have never managed a posting schedule, this role is not a fit.

What This Role Actually Owns

You will be responsible for making sure content is:

edited

scheduled

posted

tracked
every single weekday without reminders.

This is a content operations role, not just creative.

Daily Responsibilities

Edit short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

Add captions and on-screen text

Schedule and post content across:

Instagram

TikTok

YouTube Shorts

Manage a posting calendar

Repurpose and repost high-performing videos

Track what goes live (simple Google Sheet)

Flag what performs well

I provide the raw videos.
You manage everything after that.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Non-Negotiable)

You must:

Have experience scheduling and posting short-form content

Be familiar with posting tools, such as:

Meta Business Suite

TikTok native scheduler

YouTube Studio

(Optional) Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.

Understand posting frequency, cadence, and consistency

Be comfortable managing a content calendar independently

If you cannot confidently explain how you schedule and manage posts, please do not apply.

Nice to Have

Experience managing creator or personal-brand accounts

Understanding of short-form retention and hooks

Comfort reposting content strategically

Ability to suggest improvements or formats

How do you manage a weekly or monthly posting schedule?

How many short-form videos do you feel comfortable managing per week?

Please include editing samples (Reels / TikToks / Shorts)

Compensation

$750–$1,250 USD / month
Long-term role for the right person.

This role is for someone who wants stable work, clear expectations, and a chance to grow with a brand that’s scaling fast.
If you take ownership and help increase output, this will turn into a very strong long-term position.
