This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working in the firearms accessories space and understands how to present products and sellers in a professional, compliant, and credible way.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Content Manager to own content execution and contribute thoughtful input on what we publish and why.
This is a hands-on role that blends:
- Operational ownership (shipping content consistently)
- Creative judgment (feedback on videos, posts, and calendar)
- Modern tooling (AI-assisted workflows, templates, systems)
You will not be responsible for filming or advanced video editing… but you will help shape how content performs and resonates.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
1. Video Coordination & Creative Input (Core Priority)
You will:
- Take founder script and video (vision) and create tangible video instructions for video editor / producer
- Coordinate weekly with an external video editor / producer through multiple rounds of edits
- Manage delivery of:
- 1 long-form YouTube video per week (founder-led)
- 3 short-form clips per week
- Review videos and provide feedback on:
- Clarity
- Pacing
- Hook strength
- Overall quality
- Create thumbnails (Canva or similar)
- Publish videos across:
- YouTube
- Instagram

You are expected to have an opinion and share recommendations… not just upload files.
2. Editorial Calendar & Content Planning
- Maintain a simple, living editorial calendar
- Participate in weekly planning discussions with the founder
- Provide input on:
- What content is working
- What should be adjusted or doubled down on
- Help ensure a balanced mix of:
- Seller features
- Product education
- Marketplace credibility content
3. Blog Publishing & Repurposing
Publish ~3 blog posts per week
Blog content sourced from:
- Video transcripts
- Existing recorded content
Editing for:
- Structure
- Readability
- Basic SEO hygiene
No original long-form thought leadership required
4. Social Distribution
- Cross-post content with short, clear captions and hashtags
- Ensure content is formatted correctly per platform
- Maintain a consistent publishing cadence
- Weekly review of followers to tag potential leads/new sellers
- Support weekly seller-focused features coordinated with the founder
5. Newsletter Execution
Send 2 newsletters per month:
- One for buyers
- One for sellers
Use existing templates
Content sourced from videos, blogs, and seller features
6. Content Analytics Management
Monthly review of social analytics and GA4 to assess:
- Top and lowest performing content
- Content that results in conversions (website visits, sign ups, purchases)
- Best times and days to post
7. Communication & Ops
- Weekly 30-minute check-in with the founder
- Async updates via Google Meet or
- Flag issues, delays, or ideas proactively
- Keep content workflows moving smoothly
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- Experience managing or publishing content for social platforms
- Comfortable using:
- Social media platforms and schedulers
- AI tools (ChatGPT, transcript tools, caption assistance, etc.)
- Basic photo editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear written communication
- Ability to give constructive creative feedback
- Organized, reliable, and self-directed
What Success Looks Like
Within 30 days:
- Content is published consistently and on schedule
- Video ? clips ? blog ? distribution runs smoothly
- Editorial calendar is realistic and well-maintained
- Founder feels supported with both execution and input
- Work stays within ~15 hours/week
