ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re searching for a Content Editor who can take strong raw footage and make it magnetic. You understand pacing, humor, and storytelling, and you know how to cut content that keeps people watching. You’ll transform scripts and footage into scroll-stopping videos that balance humor and performance, the kind that feel as funny as a great creator’s post and as effective as a high-converting ad. You’ll collaborate directly with our creative lead and content strategist to shape content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and paid campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit short- and long-form content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and paid ads.
- Inject humor and pacing that make content addictive, sharp cuts, timing,
- Use storytelling and structure to create rhythm and flow, every second should add value or entertainment.
- Work with creative leads to refine brand tone and visual identity through editing style.
- Adapt footage into multiple versions for different platforms and audiences.
- Stay ahead of editing trends, transitions, and viral pacing techniques.
- Maintain organized project files and efficient workflows.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of editing experience (agency, creator, or brand-side).
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects or Photoshop a plus).
- Strong grasp of comedic timing, storytelling, and digital attention spans.
- Proven experience editing for YouTube or social media creators.
- Experience with UGC or paid ads is a strong advantage.
- Culturally aware, fluent in visual humor and internet trends.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to iterate quickly.
BONUS POINTS:
- Experience editing ads or branded content that entertains first and sells second.
- Familiarity with CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
- Copywriting instincts for hooks and captions.
- Understanding of paid social ad structures and retention-first storytelling.
