Relay Room, the parent company of Miracle Familie, Miracle Homes, and Type Design Asia, is seeking an experienced and versatile Social Media & Content Manager who is also a strong self-learner in AI and emerging content tools to manage our social media presence and oversee the production of high-quality content across multiple platforms.
You will be managing and creating content for:
Instagram
This role is firmly focused on content creation, platform management, and creative execution. It requires a strong background in short-form video editing, content strategy, basic graphic design, and long-form video production (including research, ideation, scripting, storyboarding, and overseeing the editing process), as well as the ability to coordinate and guide a small team of editors.
The ideal candidate has a strategic content mindset, strong organisational skills, a passion for storytelling, and is actively exploring how AI tools can enhance content ideation, production, and repurposing workflows.
Optional: Able to converse and write in Mandarin to translate and adapt existing short-form video content for Xiao Hong Shu.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Strategy
Develop and execute a clear, platform-specific content strategy aligned with the voice and positioning of each brand.
Stay current with social media trends, formats, and algorithm shifts, including AI-assisted content workflows.
Ideate, produce, and edit engaging short-form videos using CapCut / Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Apply AI tools where appropriate for research, scripting, subtitling, repurposing, and workflow efficiency, while maintaining strong creative judgment.
Create visually cohesive graphics and thumbnails using Canva.
Write strong captions and short-form scripts tailored to each platform’s tone and audience.
2. Social Media Management
Manage and maintain multiple social media accounts across platforms.
Schedule, publish, and optimise posts for reach and engagement.
Track performance metrics and generate simple insights to refine content direction.
Monitor platform updates and emerging trends, and adapt content strategies accordingly.
Where needed, liaise with clients or internal stakeholders to propose content angles, storyboards, or scripts.
3. Creative Oversight & Collaboration
Coordinate with a small team of editors and freelancers to ensure consistency and quality.
Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and basic production oversight.
Experiment with AI-supported workflows to improve speed and output without compromising quality.
Foster a collaborative, creative working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in content creation and social media management, with a strong portfolio.
Demonstrated strength in short-form video editing and storytelling.
Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms like Xiao Hong Shu.
Proficiency in video editing tools and basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong writing skills for captions and short-form scripts.
Self-driven learner in AI tools and trends relevant to content creation.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
Comfortable collaborating with editors, freelancers, and creatives; managerial experience is a bonus but not required.
