JOB OVERVIEW

Type: Full-time, 35-40 hrs/week
Pay: $3.50-$4.00/hr to start, with a pay increase after 90 days as you settle into the role and take on full ownership of responsibilities

About the Role

I'm a full-time content creator and business owner managing brand partnerships and affiliate programs across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. As the business grows, I'm bringing on a dedicated VA to own editing, account health, and day-to-day operations. This will allow me to focus my time on securing new brand partnerships, expanding revenue streams, and scaling the business strategically. I provide the raw content and full training on formatting, text-on-screen style, and captions, so you won't be guessing. You'll turn raw footage into polished, on-brand, ready-to-post material while keeping every moving piece organized behind the scenes.

This role starts with a 90-day trial period to make sure it's a good fit on both sides, with the intention of it becoming an ongoing, long-term position.

Key Responsibilities

Video & Photo Editing

-Edit raw video footage into finished short-form content using CapCut, following provided formatting guides for text overlays, captions, and style
-Edit photos in Canva for affiliate content. This is just as important as video editing, so strong photo skills are required
-Edit content for ShopMy affiliate videos
-Maintain a steady, ready-to-post content queue

Account Health & Organic Engagement

-Actively scroll and engage on assigned accounts daily to maintain authentic, active account status
-Like, comment, and interact with niche-relevant content to support algorithm performance and account credibility
-I'll provide specific keywords and hashtags to search on certain accounts to keep engagement targeted and on-niche
-Follow a consistent engagement cadence (2-3 sessions of 20-30 minutes daily) that reflects genuine, non-automated activity

Operations & Time Management

-Track deliverables and deadlines across 6 UGC brand partnerships, 2 TikTok Shop brands, and Mavely/ShopMy affiliate content
-Maintain a running content calendar and proactively flag upcoming deadlines
-Send a brief daily report (what was completed, what's in progress, anything that needs input)
-Participate in two weekly check-in calls to review progress, priorities, and any open questions
-Provide a weekly summary of completed work and outstanding items

Content Compliance

Review captions and hashtags against TikTok Community Guidelines prior to posting
Flag any language that could be read as a medical claim, pricing mention, or absolute statement

What I'm Looking For

-1+ year of experience editing short-form video (CapCut) and photos (Canva). Please include samples of both
-Strong written and spoken English required
-Available at least 4-5 hours of overlap with Arizona, USA time (MST) for daily reporting and weekly check-in calls
-Reliable high-speed internet and a computer capable of running CapCut smoothly
-Strong time management and organizational skills
-Proactive communication style. Comfortable flagging issues before they become urgent
-Willing and able to learn brand-specific formatting guidelines with training provided
-Experience with affiliate marketing (Amazon, Mavely, ShopMy) or UGC content is a strong plus
