Rate: $7 – $10/hour, depending on experience
Position: Construction Accountant (Xactimate / Sage)
Schedule: US Business Hours

Need someone to serve as a key financial resource for our Restoration department. You'll partner with Project Managers and Operations to handle project budgets, subcontractor billings, change orders, accounts receivable, and financial reporting across high-volume active projects.

Requirements:
*3–5 years of experience in construction accounting, restoration, or project administration
*Strong hands-on experience using Sage and Xactimate
*Solid grasp of construction financial concepts: cost codes, project margins, change orders, AR, and WIP reporting
*Knowledge of restoration insurance processes, including ACV/RCV and insurance estimating
*Comfortable handling client follow-ups, collection activities, and tracking state-specific lien deadlines
*Organized and detail-heavy — maintaining clean project records, change order logs, lien waivers, and billing documentation

Nice to Have:
-Background in multifamily property restoration or insurance-related construction billing
-Experience with QuickBooks, Smartsheet, Acumatica, or SAP
-Additional education or training in accounting, construction, or business
