JOB OVERVIEW

Hello,
I am looking for a talented comic book illustrator to help create a short comic for my hip-hop platform called The Big Cypher Couch. The comic will feature real artists that have performed on the platform and will have a fun, energetic style inspired by The Boondocks mixed with hip-hop culture.
Project Details:
• Total comic length: 10 pages max
• 1 cover page
• 1 origin/story page explaining how The Big Cypher Couch started
• 8 artist pages (each page highlighting one artist and a few bars from their performance)
Each artist page will include:
• The artist sitting on the couch performing
• Visual hip-hop/graffiti effects when bars land
• 3–5 short lines from their performance
• High-energy comic panels
Style Direction:
• Similar to The Boondocks animation style
• Bold line art and expressive characters
• Urban / graffiti visual elements
• Fun, energetic hip-hop atmosphere
Important Notes:
• I am working with a small independent budget, so I’m looking for someone who can work within that while still producing quality work.
• I am open to artists from anywhere in the world, especially those experienced in comic illustration.
• This project is a priority and I would like to begin as soon as possible.
• If the collaboration goes well, there may be future issues and ongoing work.
