JOB OVERVIEW

Cloara Technical Operator: Funnels · Automations · Lead Distribution · The Conversion OS
You build in a weekend what vendors bill monthly for. Here, that IS the job.

Remote · Full-time · AEST hours (10am–7pm or 11am-8p ---------- lbourne, 1hr lunch) · $1,000+ USD/mo base + ongoing per-account income + build-value bonus
The single most important technical hire we'll make. Grow to $2,500+/mo as your book and your builds compound.

Read this part carefully — it's a filter:
We get a lot of applications. Most won't fit this role, and that's fine. This is NOT a follow-the-checklist job where someone hands you tickets and watches over your shoulder. We're building something genuinely good, and we need someone who can take a strong architecture and a bit of guidance and just run with it — build the funnels, wire the integrations, automate the lot, and keep it all running.

This is the steroid role at Closara. It's the person who owns the machine end to end: the funnels that capture leads, the automations that work them, the pipelines that move them, and the AI that keeps making all of it smarter. If you're the kind of person who reads an API doc for a system you've never seen and has it wired up the same day — and who gets a genuine kick out of replacing a $600/month tool with something better in two days — this could be the best role you've had.

We're also looking for someone genuinely OBSESSED with AI. Not ‘has used ChatGPT’ — someone who follows the space, ships real software with AI in the loop, plays with new tools for fun, and gets excited about what dropped this week. Our system is already excellent; your mission is to help keep it the best on the market as AI evolves at breakneck speed.

APPLICATION KEY To prove you actually read this, start your application with the word “IGNITION” and one sentence on the most impressive system or automation you've built. Applications without it are deleted unread. First test of whether you follow detail — most won't pass it.

01 What Closara Is:
Closara is an Australian and soon to be, global company that installs a complete lead-conversion system into sales-led businesses — the speed-to-lead follow-up, booking, reminder, distribution and reporting engine that makes sure no lead a business paid for ever slips through the cracks. It's built on GoHighLevel, extended with custom automations and AI, and deployed from templated snapshots. We also run our own paid-lead and demand generation — generating or sourcingleads and routing them to buyers in real time.

So this role touches everything technical: the funnels that capture, the automations that convert, the distribution that routes leads to buyers, and the AI that keeps improving all of it. We're early, ambitious, and the person who joins now grows with us — this is a ground-floor, high-ownership seat, not a cog in a machine.

02 What You'd Actually Own — The Machine:
You own the pipeline that moves a lead from the ---------- nt it's captured to the ---------- nt it's worked, booked, or routed to a buyer. Every box below is software talking to software. You build it and you keep it talking:

- The funnels. High-converting quiz and landing-page funnels that stop the scroll and qualify while they capture — pixel, Conversion API, consent capture, tracking wired properly. (We'll show you exactly how ours are built; you'll build them to that standard and then make them better.)
-The Conversion OS installs. Deploy our snapshot into a client's GoHighLevel sub-account and configure it end to end — domains, email/SMS, calendars, pipelines, automations, voice AI, chat, dashboards. There's a step-by-step manual; you follow it, improve it, and help write the SOPs the team runs on.
- Lead distribution systems. Route leads into buyer CRMs and dialers in real time — field mapping, daily caps, duplicate checks, retries when a buyer's endpoint goes down. Real-time software-to-software plumbing that cannot silently break.
Software integration. Ad platforms, funnel builders, CRMs, dialers and lead distributors all have to talk to each other. You make them, and you keep them talking. APIs and webhooks are your native language.
- Automation. If a person does something twice, it becomes a workflow. Intake, routing, follow-up, reporting, alerting — automated and monitored, not manual.
-Build instead of buy. Use Claude Code and AI to replace paid tools with software we own. Every subscription you kill is measurable value delivered — and it shows up in your bonus.
-Ongoing client management. Once live, you keep each client's system healthy — tweaks, changes, fixes, monthly reporting, quarterly campaigns. You'll grow into managing 15+ clients as our systems mature (fewer at the start while you learn the ropes and we finish the playbook together).
-Talk to clients like a pro. Direct client contact — walkthroughs, updates, change requests. Clear, calm, professional English is non-negotiable. You represent Closara.

03 The Part That Makes This Role Special — AI Innovation:
This isn't build-it-once-and-babysit-it. Our system has to STAY the best, and the market moves weekly. A core part of your role — not a side quest — is to constantly hunt, test and fold in the newest AI tools, for two things at once: Closara's own operations, and the product we sell our clients.

-Scout relentlessly. Stay on top of what's new in voice AI, AI automations, conversational AI, AI content and editing, AI coding — anything that makes our system faster, smarter or cheaper. You should already be doing this for fun.
Ship with AI in the loop. You've built real, working software with tools like Claude Code — not just chatted with them. You reach for AI to build faster and replace what we'd otherwise pay for.
-Test with judgment. New-tool excitement is great; breaking a working system is not. You trial things properly, prove they're better, THEN roll them out. Exhaust what we have before bolting on the shiny new thing — innovation with discipline.
-Promote the winners. When something genuinely improves the build, you bake it into the templates so every client benefits at once — and you document it. Your best ideas become part of the product.

04 What You Need:
Must have
-Strong hands-on technical depth — you've built, shipped and maintained real systems, not just managed people who do. Senior developer, technical/automation engineer, or technical lead calibre.
-APIs and webhooks in your sleep — you can read docs for a system you've never seen and have it wired up the same day.
-Automation platforms — n8n, Make, Zapier, or your own scripts — whatever gets it done reliably.
-Shipped real software with AI in the loop (Claude Code or similar) — production, not experiments.
-A genuine obsession with AI — you follow the space, play with new tools, get excited about what's new. Keeping our system cutting-edge is core to the role, not optional.
-Adaptable and self-directed — nobody hands you tickets. You find the bottleneck and remove it.
Excellent written and spoken English — client-facing, clear, professional.
-Comfortable working AEST hours: 10am–7pm or 11am-8p ---------- lbourne time, one hour lunch, Monday–Friday. Fixed — do not apply if you can't commit long-term.
-A reliable computer, fast internet, and a quiet space for client calls.

Strongly preferred (real bonus points):
-GoHighLevel — especially workflows, custom values and webhook triggers. If you know GHL deeply, say so loudly.
-Voice technology — AI voice agents, dialers, call routing or telephony APIs.
-Performance-marketing / media-buying exposure — pixels, Conversion API, tracking, attribution, UTM plumbing. You don't have to be the media buyer, but you must be able to build and debug the plumbing behind the ads.
-Lead-distribution or PPL experience — routing leads to buyers, caps, dupes, real-time posting.
-You've written or improved SOPs before — you think in systems.

05 The Trial Task — Do This With Your Application:
Here's the real filter. The keen, capable people will just do this. Everyone else won't — and that already tells us what we need to know. Pick EITHER task (or do both if you're keen). Rough and real beats polished and vague.

-TASK A — Speed-to-lead build A new client (a solar installer) just had someone fill in their website form at 9pm on a Sunday. In GoHighLevel, describe (and if you can, build in a free trial and screen-record) how you'd make sure that lead gets a text, an email AND a phone-call attempt within 60 seconds, 24/7 — and what happens next if they don't book. We want your THINKING and your GHL/automation fluency, not perfection.

-TASK B — Integration / distribution build A lead is captured in a funnel and must be posted in real time to a buyer's CRM via their API — with field mapping, a daily cap, and a duplicate check, and a retry if the buyer's endpoint is down. Describe (and if you can, build/screen-record) how you'd wire this with n8n / Make / scripts. Show how you'd know when it breaks.

Bonus (tells us you're our kind of person):
Name one AI tool you've discovered recently that genuinely impressed you, and one sentence on how you'd use it to make a system like ours better — or one paid tool you'd replace by building it yourself, and how.

Then a quick process
1. We review your task + application (fast, if the keyword's there). Every application gets read; you hear back either way.
2. A short paid trial project — a small, real integration or build task, the kind of thing you'd do in week one.
3. One call with Sasha, then a paid trial month and full onboarding. The whole thing can move in days.

06 The Money — And Why It Grows
We pay for value delivered, not hours logged. The base is modest and honest; the real reward is what you build on top of it — a book of clients that pays you monthly, and the value you ship.
-Base: $1,000+ USD/month, full-time, stable, paid reliably (higher for exceptional proven depth).
-Ongoing per-account income — the spine: For every client you install and keep healthy past their 90-day minimum term, you earn an extra $100 USD/month, every month that client stays and stays satisfied. Your income compounds as your book grows.
-Build-value bonus — the accelerator: On top of that, a performance bonus tied to value you ship — systems built, paid tools you replace with software we own, revenue unblocked. Kill a $600/month subscription with a two-day build and that's measurable value that shows up in your pay.
-What it looks like: As accounts mature past 90 days and your builds stack up, $2,500+ USD/month is a realistic trajectory around the 6-month mark. The better your systems perform and the longer clients stay, the more you earn.
-The honest ramp: Per-account income is EARNED as clients pass 90 days — so your first couple of months sit closer to base while you build the book. This is a $2.5k+ trajectory you grow into, not a day-one number. We'd rather tell you plainly than oversell it.
-Rated on satisfaction: Each account is rated monthly; an unhappy or unhealthy account doesn't pay its bonus until you've put it right. You're rewarded only for genuinely well-run clients and genuinely valuable builds.

The rest of what you get:
-Real ownership: This is YOUR domain — the whole technical machine. You report to the founder directly. No layers, no committees, no tickets.
-Get in early: Help shape the SOPs and the team. The first great technical hire becomes the person who trains and leads the next ones — with the pay to match.
-A genuinely good system: Clean, well-architected, no spaghetti. Something you'll be proud to put your name on.
Long-term by design: Everything about this role rewards staying and building.

How to apply:
Send: (1) the keyword “IGNITION” + one sentence on the most impressive system you've built; (2) your answer to Task A or B above (written, Loom, or both); (3) a short note on your technical background with one specific example of something you built or fixed and what it changed; (4) links — portfolio, GitHub, or Loom; and (5) a 60–90 second video introducing yourself in English (matters for a client-facing role) plus your availability for AEST hours.

We read every application that starts with the keyword AND attempts a task. Those two things put you ahead of most applicants — because they prove you're the person who reads the detail and runs with it. That's the entire job.
