JOB OVERVIEW

We run a fast-growing YouTube compilation channel and are looking for a serious, detail-oriented Clip Researcher who can find high-quality, fresh, and unique clips before everyone else does.

This is NOT a basic reposting job.

We want someone who can dig deep into the internet and uncover content that hasn’t already been overused on YouTube.

???? Your Role

You will:

• Search deeply across public platforms
• Find NEW, high-quality viral clips
• Source clips before they hit mainstream YouTube
• Ensure clips are safe to use
• Provide source links and creator handles
• Organize clips into Google Docs or spreadsheets

We are building a channel that stands out, not another copy-paste compilation.

We look for clips from:

• Reddit
• TikTok
• Instagram
• X (Twitter)
• Facebook

???? We DO NOT take clips from YouTube.
???? We DO NOT use licensed clips from:

ViralHog

Jukin Media

Newsflare

JellySmack

You must know how to identify licensed content and avoid it.

(Upload it to youtube, if the claim is video footage its liscensed, if its only the music we can mute)

???? What Makes a Good Clip?

We want clips that are:

• High resolution (HD preferred)
• Real, authentic ---------- nts
• Strong emotional reaction (shock, karma, fail, justice, chaos, etc.)
• Clear audio when possible
• Unique and not already trending on 50 other channels

If it’s already everywhere, we don’t want it.

• Obsessed with finding viral content
• Good at spotting trends early
• Detail-oriented
• Fast and efficient
• Able to follow clear sourcing rules
• Familiar with compilation channels

Bonus if you understand:
• Copyright basics
• How licensing companies operate
• How to reverse search clips
