JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time / Flexible | Long-Term | UK Google Ads Agency

Hi, I'm Ryan, founder of a UK-based Google Ads agency working primarily with e-commerce businesses.

I'm building a small specialist team and looking for an exceptional Client Success & Communications Coordinator to become the communication link between our clients and the team.

This is not a full-time role, and it's not a traditional VA position where you'll simply wait for me to give you tasks. I'm looking for someone proactive, extremely organised and comfortable taking ownership.

What you'll be responsible for:
- Monitoring and responding to client emails
- Monitoring our Fiverr inbox and responding quickly to new enquiries
- Handling routine client communication and follow-ups
- Updating client information, audit briefs and tasks inside Slack
- Making sure the right information reaches the right team member
- Coordinating with our Google Ads Account Manager, Audit Specialist and Research Specialist
- Chasing missing information or client assets without waiting to be asked
- Identifying anything that genuinely needs Ryan's attention and escalating it clearly
- Potentially helping with client video reports in the future

You will not be expected to manage Google Ads yourself. Your job is to make sure communication is excellent, and nothing falls through the cracks.

The person I'm looking for:
- Exceptional written English is essential.
- Most of our communication should read as though it has been written by someone in the UK. You should be comfortable with British English spelling, grammar and natural conversational language, rather than American English or overly formal/corporate customer-service language.

I'm specifically looking for someone who:
- Has outstanding attention to detail
- Is proactive rather than reactive
- Has excellent written English
- Uses good judgement and can think for themselves
- Notices missing information, mistakes and unfinished tasks
- Communicates warmly and professionally
- Is comfortable working independently
- Can distinguish between something they can handle themselves and something Ryan needs to see
- Takes genuine ownership rather than simply completing assigned tasks

Experience with Slack, Gmail and Fiverr would be useful, but attitude, communication and judgement matter more to me than knowing every piece of software.

Hours & pay:
This will initially be a small, part ---------- position, rather than a traditional 40-hour working week.
I'm currently budgeting approximately $300-$400 USD per month, depending on experience, availability and the arrangement we agree. Of course, this depends on whether we do a fixed rate or an hourly rate.

The role has the potential to grow as the agency grows.

How to apply:
Please don't send me a generic copy-and-paste application.

Start your application with the words "Yorkshire Tea", so I know you've read the full job description.

Then answer these four questions:
1. Tell me briefly about your experience handling client communication or customer success.

2. A client emails:
"Hi Ryan, sales have dropped quite badly since last Thursday. Can you take a look? We've also got a promotion starting Monday, so ideally we'd like this sorted before then."
Write the reply you would send to the client.

3. What would you do internally after sending that reply? Be specific.

4. Rewrite this sentence naturally in British English:

"Hi James, I wanted to reach out and see if you had gotten a chance to review the report we sent over. Please let me know if you have any questions."

5. Please record a quick video so I can hear your voice and see you. Only needs to be 1 minute - 2 mins long.

I'm looking for someone I can trust long-term as the agency grows. If you're proactive, meticulous and an excellent communicator, I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you.
