I’m George, a YouTube creator and business owner. We produce educational videos and software tutorials for brands, with a team handling scripting, editing, and design.
I’m looking for someone who can take full ownership of client delivery once I close a deal.
The goal is simple: you give me an approved script, I record the video and upload the footage, and you manage everything needed to deliver excellent work to a happy client.
You’ll be the main point of contact for clients and the person keeping our production team organized, accountable, and moving forward.
What you’ll own
Client onboarding: Collect briefs, brand assets, product access, deadlines, and everything the team needs.
Topic alignment: Coordinate ideas with the team and get client approval on topics and angles.
Scripting: Brief writers, review scripts for clarity and accuracy, manage feedback, and secure approval before recording.
Recording preparation: Give me a complete recording package, including the approved script, demo access, and any important instructions.
Production management: Coordinate writers, editors, and designers. Set realistic deadlines, follow up, and resolve blockers early.
Quality control: Review videos against the brief and approved script. Catch incorrect information, missing sections, weak edits, and wrong CTAs before the client sees them.
Client communication: Send clear updates, manage expectations, collect feedback, and keep clients informed.
Revisions: Turn feedback into clear instructions, check that changes are completed, and flag requests outside the agreed scope.
Delivery and publishing: Make sure final videos, thumbnails, descriptions, and other agreed assets are ready and delivered or published correctly.
Invoice follow-up: Track payment status, send reminders, and flag overdue payments.
Process improvement: Keep our project board accurate and improve checklists and workflows as you learn the business.
You’ll work with our existing production team. You need to be able to brief writers and editors and judge their work; personally writing and editing every video is not required.
Who we’re looking for
You have experience managing client projects at a video production company, creative agency, content business, or similar environment.
You can confidently communicate with clients in English, coordinate several projects at once, and give clear feedback to creative team members.
Most importantly, you follow through. When something is delayed, unclear, or below standard, you take action and stay with it until it is resolved.
You should be comfortable:
* Managing deadlines, dependencies, and competing priorities.
* Reviewing scripts and videos with close attention to detail.
* Having respectful but firm conversations about deadlines and quality.
* Making decisions independently within agreed boundaries.
* Bringing a proposed solution when you need help.
* Using project management tools, Google Drive, and AI tools responsibly.
* Learning software products well enough to spot mistakes in tutorials.
Experience with YouTube tutorials, software brands, and remote creative teams is a strong advantage.
What success looks like
* Scripts are approved and ready before recording.
* Every active project has a clear owner, next action, and deadline.
* Problems are raised early, with a plan to resolve them.
* Clients receive updates without having to chase us.
* Work is checked properly before it reaches the client.
* Revisions and invoice follow-ups don’t get forgotten.
* I can focus on recording while you keep delivery moving.
Working arrangement
This is a full-time role intended to become a long-term working relationship.
We need reliable availability during agreed working hours and enough capacity for this to be your primary professional commitment. Please be transparent about any other work you plan to continue.
You’ll have direct access to me, an existing production team, and clear responsibility for the delivery process. We’ll agree on your decision-making authority and when issues should be escalated.
How to apply
Please use the subject line: **Client Delivery Manager — [Your Name]**
Include:
1. A short introduction explaining why your experience fits this role.
2. An example of a video or creative project you managed. Explain what you personally owned and how many projects you handled at once.
3. A specific example of a project that went off track. What did you do, and what happened?
4. A redacted example of a project board, production brief, or client update you created. Please remove confidential information.
5. Your expected monthly salary, earliest start date, available working hours and timezone, and any ongoing work commitments.
6. Your answer to this scenario:
A video is due to the client tomorrow. The editor hasn’t delivered the draft, the client has just requested a change to the approved script, and George is unavailable for the next six hours. What would you do first, and what would you communicate to each person?**
Keep your application concise and specific. Real examples will help us understand how you work.
Our hiring process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid practical assessment based on realistic client and production situations. This takes approximately 60–75 minutes.
We’ll then have a video call to discuss your decisions. The selected finalist will complete a paid one-week trial, with the scope, schedule, and compensation agreed in advance.
We’re looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, build a strong working relationship with the team, and help us deliver work we’re proud of.
