About the Role

NuVista AI is looking for an experienced Client Delivery Lead to manage AWS Cloud, Data, and AI projects from discovery through production.

You will serve as the primary connection between our U.S.-based enterprise clients, offshore engineering teams, and company leadership. You will own client communication, lead technical discovery, coordinate delivery, and keep projects on track.

This role requires a strong technical background and proven experience delivering projects for external clients. Candidates must be joining us directly from a comparable agency, consulting, technology services, or professional services environment. Freelance-only experience does not meet this requirement.

What You’ll Do

Own client relationships and serve as the primary contact for assigned projects.
Lead discovery calls and technical discussions with U.S.-based enterprise clients.
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, deliverables, priorities, and milestones.
Coordinate solution architects, cloud engineers, data engineers, AI specialists, DevOps, QA, and security teams across locations and time zones.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
Track milestone-based timesheets and maintain accurate project records.
Identify risks, resolve blockers, and hold teams accountable for agreed deliverables.
Manage scope changes and communicate their impact on timelines and resources.
Provide clear, timely updates to clients, leadership, and project stakeholders.
Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, security, compliance, and technical standards.
Lead production readiness, project handoffs, go-live coordination, and post-delivery reviews.

Required Experience and Skills

Proven experience delivering AWS-based projects from discovery through production for external enterprise clients.
Experience working within a structured agency, consulting, technology services, or professional services company.
A technical leadership background as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, Technical Delivery Lead, or in a comparable role.
Five to seven years of hands-on experience with databases, data platforms, cloud technologies, or related solutions.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including S3, EC2 or ECS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
Experience delivering data pipelines, data lakes, and ETL solutions using AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, or similar technologies.
Experience delivering AI/ML, generative AI, or AI agent solutions using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or comparable platforms.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience managing project scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery commitments.
Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence leading both technical and business discussions.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate globally distributed teams.
Availability and responsiveness during U.S. business hours.

Nice to Have

An active AWS certification.
Experience delivering projects through AWS Marketplace.
Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Experience supporting healthcare, financial services, public sector, or other regulated clients.
Experience with application modernization, data warehouse modernization, intelligent automation, or AIOps.
Experience managing offshore or globally distributed technical teams.
