Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing claims accurately and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on manual claims entry from superbill submissions. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, data integrity, and timely claim resolution while delivering excellent service to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process incoming claims for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Perform manual claims entry from superbills, ensuring accurate transcription of all required data (patient details, CPT/HCPCS codes, dates of service, charges, etc.)
Verify claim information including patient/client details, dates of service, medication names, costs, and supporting documentation
Communicate with clients, providers, and internal departments to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all processed claims
Track claim status and follow up on outstanding or pending claims
Identify and flag potentially fraudulent, duplicate, or inconsistent claims
Meet productivity and accuracy standards within established deadlines
Assist with reporting, auditing, and data entry as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–5 years of experience in claims processing, medical billing, or a related field required
Hands-on experience with manual claims entry from superbills is required
Strong attention to detail and high level of data entry accuracy
Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding, insurance claims, or pharmacy billing preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
