About Land Homes Texas
Land Homes Texas is a Texas-based real estate and land development company. We help clients take raw, infill, and development land from concept through entitlement, design, and construction. As we launch our new Engineering & Feasibility Services division, we are building a dedicated remote team to support projects across Texas and the broader U.S.
The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Filipino Civil Engineer to join our team in a primarily project management capacity, with hands-on support in civil design and drafting when needed. You will help drive land development projects from feasibility through construction — coordinating consultants and agencies, managing schedules and budgets, and keeping deliverables on track. Direct experience with U.S. (ideally Texas) real estate and land development is essential. This is a full-time, fully remote role with working hours that overlap U.S. Central Time.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management (primary focus)
• Manage land development projects end to end — from feasibility and due diligence through entitlement, design, and construction support.
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and task lists; track milestones and surface risks early.
• Coordinate surveyors, geotechnical engineers, architects, municipalities, utility providers, and contractors.
• Drive the entitlement and permitting process, including platting, site plan approvals, and agency submittals.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and consultant deliverables through to approval.
• Provide clear, regular status updates and reporting to ownership and stakeholders.
• Keep project documentation, files, and trackers organized and current.
Civil Design & Drafting (as needed)
• Support site civil design — grading, drainage, stormwater, paving, and utility layouts.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, site plans, and exhibits in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
• Perform preliminary feasibility analysis, yield studies, and cost estimating.
• Review consultant design packages for completeness, constructability, and code compliance.
• Assist with stormwater and drainage calculations and supporting reports.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (PRC licensure / registration a strong plus).
• 15–20 years of experience in civil/site engineering and/or land development project management.
• Direct experience with U.S. land development projects — Texas experience strongly preferred.
• Strong command of the U.S. land development process: due diligence, entitlements, platting, permitting, and construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a capable computer, and a quiet, professional remote work setup.
• Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) with overlap to U.S. Central Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Texas municipalities, counties, TCEQ, and MUD districts.
• Familiarity with stormwater management and drainage design (detention/retention, SWPPP).
• Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, MS Project, Procore) and Bluebeam Revu.
• Cost estimating and budgeting experience for site/land development.
• Proven track record coordinating directly with U.S.-based clients and agencies.
Tools, Software, & Equipment:
• AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
• Project management tools (Asana / Monday / MS Project or similar)
• Minimum required Computer/Peripherals specs: Intel i5 (or equivalent), 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Dual FHD monitors, noise-canceling headset, HD webcam
• Internet: Stable broadband (200 Mbps minimum download) with backup internet connection
What We Offer:
• $10.00 USD per hour, full-time (40 hours/week).
• Long-term, stable remote position with a growing company.
• The opportunity to help build a new engineering division from the ground up.
• A collaborative, supportive team and direct access to ownership.
