Cinematic Short-Form Video Editor + Colorist for Reels / TikTok / Shorts (Per-Reel, Ongoing)
Job Type: Ongoing freelance, paid per reel.
Pay: $75 to $120 per finished reel depending on complexity (heavy motion graphics or 3D-tracked text is priced at the top end). Long-form quoted separately. Paid weekly via Wise. Consistent volume for the right person, and your rate per reel grows as you prove out.

THE BAR (this is the most important part):
You must be able to edit at this level. These two reels are the standard we expect you to match:

If your work does not already look like this, this role is not for you. We are not hiring a beginner or a generalist VA who edits on the side. We want one editor who makes content people stop scrolling for and then ask "who edited that?"
We're a US video/media studio producing short-form social content for brands and creators across real estate, automotive, local business, and personal brands, plus occasional long-form. Steady volume and reliable, on-time pay.
What you'll deliver per reel:
- A scroll-stopping hook in the first 1 to 3 seconds
- Tight, beat-driven pacing built for retention
- Clean, consistent cinematic color grading across mixed cameras and lighting (non-negotiable)
- Motion graphics and text animation, including camera-tracked or 3D-tracked text where the shot calls for it
- Sound design and audio cleanup
- Accurate captions and platform-ready exports (vertical 1080x1920)
You're a strong fit if you have:
- A reel that already looks like the two examples above (send it, do not just describe it)
- Real color grading skill. DaVinci Resolve preferred, or provable high-end grading in Premiere or After Effects. Dropping a LUT is not grading.
- Strong motion graphics and tracking (After Effects or equivalent)
- A machine that handles 4K and heavy timelines smoothly (real GPU) and a stable internet connection
- Fast, dependable turnaround (typically 24 to 72 hrs per reel) and clear written English
How to apply:
1. Send a 30 to 60 second reel of your best short-form social edits, plus links to 2 or 3 full edits start to finish (not highlight clips).
2. Send one example that shows your color grading (a before/after is ideal) and one that shows motion graphics or tracked text.
3. Tell me your toolset, your typical turnaround for one reel, and your rate per reel.
Applications that skip these steps, or send a generic VA or marketing portfolio instead of editing samples that match the bar above, will not be reviewed.
