As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who can take full ownership of our marketing function, bring structure to the team, and drive measurable growth across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead marketing end to end, from high-level strategy to day-to-day direction.

Your responsibilities will include:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership
• Own and lead the overall marketing strategy for the business
• Turn company goals into a clear and actionable marketing roadmap
• Identify the highest-impact growth opportunities across channels
• Set priorities, timelines, and budgets for marketing initiatives
• Ensure the marketing team is aligned, productive, and focused on what matters most

Team Management & Direction
• Lead and manage the existing marketing team
• Provide clear direction, structure, and accountability
• Help the team move beyond just execution by creating better focus and strategic clarity
• Identify gaps in the team and recommend or hire additional support such as freelancers, agencies, or channel specialists when needed

Growth & Demand Generation
• Oversee multi-channel marketing efforts including:
• SEO
• Paid acquisition
• Outbound growth
• Content
• Other performance-driven channels
• Improve lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion performance
• Ensure all channels work together within one cohesive growth strategy
• Review current funnels, campaigns, and processes to improve underperforming areas

Performance, Metrics & Accountability
• Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems for the marketing function
• Track ROI and ensure marketing spend is tied to measurable outcomes
• Run regular performance reviews and team check-ins
• Build a culture of testing, learning, and data-backed decision-making
• Improve visibility, organization, and accountability across the department

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with leadership to align marketing with business goals
• Collaborate with sales and other teams to strengthen pipeline generation and messaging
• Help refine positioning, go-to-market priorities, and channel strategy based on market feedback and performance data

Who We’re Looking For

• Comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervision
• Strong at leading teams, setting priorities, and building structure
• Deeply performance-driven and confident using data to guide decisions
• Experienced in managing multiple channels and tying marketing activity back to growth

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in marketing
• Significant experience in a senior or leadership-level marketing role
• Proven success leading multi-channel marketing strategies and teams
• Strong experience in performance marketing, growth, paid ads, SEO, and demand generation
• Experience building structure, accountability, and reporting into marketing operations
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to measure what’s working
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Able to operate independently and drive progress without constant oversight

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, ticketing, consumer internet, or transactional platforms
• Experience managing internal teams alongside agencies, freelancers, or specialists
• Background in scaling marketing functions for high-growth companies
• Familiarity with outbound or lifecycle-driven growth strategies
