About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Accounting Staff with solid experience in Australian accounting and tax, including NDIS and non-NDIS clients. Key Responsibilities
• Review and reconcile client transactions in Xero
• Action
• Handle invoicing and ensure timely billing
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage monthly and quarterly GST compliance
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and tax returns
• Support investment, corporate, and business-related matters
• Assist with ad hoc finance-related tasks
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
• Monitor cash flow, and support budgeting and forecasting
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams on financial matters
• Provide administrative support to other teams when available
Requirements
• 2–4 years of proven experience in Australian accounting and tax
• Experience with NDIS and non-NDIS clients
• Advanced proficiency in Xero
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable
• Able to work independently with no other clients or commitments
