We are a growing U.S.-based product and e-commerce company looking for a Catalog Specialist to join our marketing team as a long-term, full-time tea
##This is not a VA role.
You will be responsible for the accuracy, structure, and presentation of our product catalog across multiple major U.S. retail and marketplace platforms. This role requires speed, precision, ownership, and good judgment. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and collaborate occasionally with Product.
If you enjoy detailed work, moving fast without sacrificing accuracy, and taking ownership of critical systems, this role will be a great fit.
*You will actively manage product listings on:*
Our Shopify direct-to-consumer stores
Additional retailer platforms as needed
~What You’ll Be Responsible For~
Catalog & Product Management
Create, maintain, and audit product listings across all platforms
Manage product data in Plytix PIM
Maintain accurate titles, descriptions, specs, attributes, pricing, variants, and bundles
Support new SKU launches (typically fewer than 50 SKUs per new channel)
Manage product lifecycle updates, changes, and discontinuations
Content & Merchandising
Write product descriptions when needed
Edit and format provided product copy for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
Ensure product pages meet internal standards and brand guidelines
Use AI responsibly as a tool — not a substitute for understanding the product
Digital Asset Management
Manage product images and files in Canto
Upload and organize provided assets
Ensure correct assets are used across channels
Pricing & Competitive Reporting
Monitor pricing across channels
Perform competitive price checks using Price2Spy and Excel
Identify pricing discrepancies, compliance risks, and competitive gaps
Provide clear price and competitor reporting
Process Improvement
Follow existing SOPs
Improve and refine SOPs
Help document new processes as the business grows
Track work and priorities in ClickUp
