JOB OVERVIEW

We create a high volume of short-form UGC/TikTok-style videos for brand partners and are looking for a reliable CapCut editor to join our team long-term.

This role is best for someone who enjoys repetitive editing, works efficiently, communicates clearly, and can consistently meet deadlines.

We’re looking for someone who can initially commit approximately 2-3 hours per day, with the opportunity to grow to 5-6 hours per day in the future as additional brands and workload are added.

VOLUME EXPECTATION:

This role includes editing approximately 14 short-form organic videos per day.

Most edits are simple UGC/TikTok-style videos with consistent editing styles and repeatable workflows. Many videos follow similar formats and often reuse the same editing style week-to-week, making the process faster once trained.

There will also be a smaller number of videos that require a bit more effort, but they are still organic-style edits (not highly produced or complex).

MUST-HAVES:

• 1+ year of hands-on CapCut experience
• Fast, reliable internet (please include a Speedtest.net screenshot with your application)
• Comfortable working overnight/night-shift hours on Mondays to align with EST deadlines
• Available for weekend editing when needed, with the option of taking on a larger workload on Fridays in order to have weekends off
• Strong written English
• Quick and clear communication
• Reliable and responsive during working hours
• Able to meet deadlines consistently and communicate early if delays arise
• Efficient editor who can work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Takes feedback well and applies it to future videos
• Interested in a long-term position

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENT:

We are based in Toronto (EST), so some deadlines align with EST hours.

Mondays require overnight/night-shift availability (Philippines time) due to a 4-hour turnaround requirement.

Most other edits follow a 20-24 hour turnaround schedule.

START DATE:

Looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

RATE:

$5 USD/hour
Paid monthly via PayPal.

PERFORMANCE BONUSES & GROWTH:

We value long-term relationships and reward strong performance.

Editors who demonstrate excellent communication, reliability, efficiency, attention to detail, and consistent deadline performance may be eligible for future rate increases.

Performance bonuses may also be available for exceptional work, long-term contribution, and viral videos.

TO APPLY:

Start your subject line with the word “PINEAPPLE” (applications without this keyword will not be reviewed).

In your application, please include:

• Your portfolio link (UGC/TikTok-style edits preferred)
• Confirmation that you meet the must-haves above
• Your CapCut experience level
• How many hours per day you can commit
• Confirmation that you are comfortable with the Monday overnight shift requirements

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:

If your application is a fit, we’ll send a short test project (1 raw video, 24-hour turnaround).

Strong test results can lead to a long-term position.
