JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled CapCut video editor who can create engaging content for trading and finance-related videos. The ideal candidate understands modern editing styles used in YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube long-form videos.

Your role will be to take raw footage and transform it into high-retention content with captions, graphics, and smooth pacing that keeps viewers watching.

This position can start part-time and grow into a long-term position for the right person.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos (30–60 seconds) for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Edit long-form YouTube videos (5–15 minutes)

Add captions, emojis, graphics, and sound effects when appropriate

Create engaging hooks in the first 3 seconds to increase retention

Add B-roll, charts, or visual elements related to trading/finance when needed

Follow our brand style and editing guidelines

Deliver videos on time

Requirements

Strong experience using CapCut

Experience editing short-form social media content

Understanding of modern YouTube/TikTok editing styles

Ability to add animated captions and engaging visuals

Good English comprehension

Reliable internet connection

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

Experience editing trading, finance, or business content

Knowledge of YouTube retention editing

Basic understanding of stocks, crypto, or trading terminology

Experience creating viral-style short-form videos
