Looking for Filipino VA, this is a work-from-home set up. (7am-3pm EST).
We are a General Contractor company in the U.S. and need ESTIMATORS to join our team. Our company handles commercial buildout construction (retail, restaurants, offices, etc.).
Some of the tasks are as follows, but not limited to:
-Review plans and other construction documents, and determine project requirements (Civil, Architectural, and MEPF scopes).
-Coordinate with the client and/or designer for any RFIs.
-Source out subcontractors and vendors and send ITBs to secure quotes/bids for the project.
-Send regular follow-ups to subcontractors for bid submission.
-Address subcontractor queries and clarification.
-Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and ensure the scope of work is correct and complete.
-Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
-Coordinate and regularly update the estimating team regarding bid updates and status.
-Create quantity takeoffs and estimates for needed trades.
-Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, bids, and project changes.
-Prepare detailed cost estimates and present them to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
-10 years and above overall Experience in Estimating/Procurement/Construction Management (is a must);
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical (is a must)
- Past work experience in any company or a GC company in the U.S. is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when speaking.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, well organized, and ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure, and have the initiative to do tasks effectively
- Proficient in software/computer programs and equipment (MS Office, google suites, and cloud-based applications like SharePoint, and Dropbox)
