JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring a finance-focused analyst to maintain accurate records of transaction-level costs and profitability for our ecommerce business.

This role is finance only.
No inventory management.
No logistics or operations.

Responsibilities

Track and reconcile transaction costs, including:

Payment provider fees

Refunds and chargebacks

Actual stock costs (so differences in sea vs air freight)

Shipping and fulfillment costs

Discounts and promotions

VAT where applicable

Reconcile data between:

Shopify

Payment providers

Accounting exports

Maintain simple margin and cost reports

Identify discrepancies and missing data

Prepare weekly and monthly summaries

Requirements

Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

Experience working with ecommerce financial data

Attention to detail and consistency

Comfortable working with large datasets

Nice to have

Shopify experience

Familiarity with payment providers (Stripe, Mollie, Shopify Payments, etc.)

Basic EU VAT understanding

Setup
