Buyer Assistant (Procurement & Vendor Management) – Full-Time Remote
We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Buyer Assistant to support our growing purchasing operations. If you have experience working with multiple vendors, managing procurement workflows, and handling data in spreadsheets, this role is for you.
- Assist in managing end-to-end purchasing processes across multiple vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers to source products, negotiate pricing, and track orders
- Maintain and update detailed procurement trackers using Google Sheets or Excel
- Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and inventory levels
- Analyze pricing, compare vendor quotes, and support cost optimization
- Ensure accuracy in purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors
- Identify and resolve procurement-related issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying roles
- Experience managing multiple vendors simultaneously
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (non-negotiable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience in eCommerce, product sourcing, or retail
- Familiarity with international vendors
- Experience in cost analysis and negotiation
Work Setup:
- Full-time remote
- Must be available during Eastern Time (ET) hours
